[2.6] HC Viable Detonate Dead Elementalist

Going to keep this guide brief, I've supplied a video showing off the build in mid-tier maps with really cheap gear. This is my idea for a potential 2.6 league starter:
Budget

1c - The Searing Touch Lathi (4 link minimum)
1c - Cloak of Flame (either staff or this can be 4 linked) This can also be done with any 4 link staff, The Searing Touch is just ideal. The concept:

Start by casting a fireball, this will have either 100% ignite chance or fire penetration; Ideally both. Next step is casting scorching ray and clearing the rest. Bosses and single targets can be taken out with either fireball or desecrate + corpse explosion.
Necessary Gem setup:

At least two 4 links:
First: B B B/R G Cast while channeling + Scorching ray + Detonate dead + Chance to ignite/fire penetration Second: B B B B (B B B R, your preference) Fireball + Controlled destruction + concentrated effect + Fire penetration/Faster casting/Chance to ignite Please note that I've only set up two necessary gem combinations. More intuitive gem setups include:
