Looking for any critique and advice for my planned 2.6 build. CI Cospris Lacerate + Freezing pulse.

Up until breach I never really did my own builds, just always followed a guide and added my own spin on it occassionally. Last league I finally did several of my own builds, and after seeing the new threshold jewel for Freezing Pulse decided I wanted to do a FP build for 2.6.

My current planned tree for the build.

Threshold jewels would go to the east side of Shadow start, and north from witch start.

Gear would be -
Weapon - Cospri's Malice
Shield - Rare ES with Spell damage
Armor - Rare Vaal Regalia
Helmet - Crown of Eyes to boost the lacerate damage, also accuracy.
Gloves - Voidbringers
Boots - Rare ES boots
Ring 1 - Diamond or Opal
Ring 2 - Call of the Brotherhood for shocks??? Curious on this one.
Amulet - Rare with whatever else I need, res/str/etc.
Belt - Rare Crystal belt with WED etc etc

Links would be a 6-link in chest with lacerate. Lacerate + Multistrike + Inc. Crit Strikes + WED + Added Cold + Faster Attacks

Cospris = Freezing Pulse + Controlled destruction? + Cold Pen

Auras = Discipline + Herald of ice with curse on hit + Frostbite

I want to use orb of storms + pcoc to generate power charges more efficiently, plus getting things shocked.

Obviously going to have vaal haste + immortal call + CWDT + Summon ice golem somewhere.

Whirling blades + Flame dash for mobility.


My biggest thing is, I want to be able to do all content with the build I start the league with this time, and I'm not sure if this build I have planned is going to be able to do it.

Anyway, looking for any advice. I know when the new tree releases I might be able to move some things around a bit, possibly won't have to go all the way down to the duelist area for leech and the sword crit nodes. Also, not sure if my lacerate damage is going to be enough to leech enough back. If not, I'm worried I'm going to have to drop cold pen or controlled destruction and throw a life leech gem in my freezing pulse, which is going to lower the damage a LOT.

I like the idea of the build but you have some issues currently.

First there is going to be some significant changes for cold damage specifically around the ranger area, and changes to the pathing between shadow and ranger so a solid skill tree really wouldn't be possible until it's released. This is holding me back from trying to even make some adjustments to your tree. Also the Sword crit tree in the bottom of the ranger area is going away also getting merged into the main sword one. Pretty much everything you are trying to do is about to be changed.

So you might end up better dropping a lot of the spell damage nodes and looking for more elemental and not using the crown of eyes.

I think you are going to need more ES also, either the Unnatural calm in the top left of the witches start or foresight near the sion. The Sion nodes might be interesting because the elemetal damage node there will give reflect mitigation.

I would drop some of the projectile damage stuff as lacerate won't benefit from it and try to get more elemental damage if they add good nodes. The spell crit is fine because your a crit build. Also call of the brotherhood will not shock if you don't do lightning damage. I am also not sure about your leech situation, if anything I would throw the gem into the lacerate.

I think the bottom line is a lot will change after the new skill tree comes out.
