What gems works with [Cast When Damage Taken Support] ?
Hi,
I have tried out a bunch, not gotten more than 1 to work. The working gem was Convocation. I would need something that boost my defense on hit. So stuff like Purify Of Elements and Discipline but they don't work, nor does a bunch of others I've tried. I've also googled but poe wiki is super confusing and doesnt list all gems working, just a few suggestions. So is there a list of all gems working with this support gem or at least a working category so I can browse cus "spell" is false. Not all spells work. www.graffiticreator.net Last bumped on Feb 16, 2017, 10:12:28 AM

Curses work. Immortal Call works. Vortex kinda works, too, with the chill in the area.

Easier to describe what doesn't work. It has to have "Spell". It can't be an Aura or Herald or a Vaal Skill.
One of the defensive skills like Molten Shell might be what you're looking for. Last edited by Shagsbeard#3964 on Feb 16, 2017, 7:41:38 AM

You cannot use:
Auras Vaal skills Totems Warcrys Pretty much any other spell can be used. In terms of defence, immortal call and molten shell are good versus physical damage. Artic Breath and vortex are good for slowing enemies, and this can often be underestimated. |

Curses work well. Temporal Chains or Enfeeble especially lower the chances of being hit again; or Warlord's Mark if you want to boost your leech.

Skillgems have a keyword system in place. If you look at a skillgem, for instance:
http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Enfeeble You will see it has the keyword "Spell" in it. Which means that you can use it in cwdt. If you compare it with http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Enduring_Cry You'll see it doesnt have the "Spell" tag in it, meaning it is not eligible. In short, look at your skillgems, look for the "Spell" keyword and you are set. Last edited by Cataca#6988 on Feb 16, 2017, 10:12:42 AM
