Possible to gift someone else points or account features?

I might have some friends who are interesting in playing this game but now I wonder if there are any options to help the friend with for example giving him some points or maybe gift him a currency tab for example.

Maybe an idea to get some new players by referring system where a player could give someone some gifts if he plays the game with x amount of time?

you can only legitimately and directly gift other players ingame points if they're guild leader. apart from that ggg is legitimately very afraid of players exchanging ingame points for other ingame favours.

for gifting other player's points you can try mailing support@grindinggear.com, state your account, the account to be gifted, state a reason for the gifting, be friendly and maybe they will do it on a case to case basis.

Sure some people might abuse it in like you give me that item I give you x amount of points for it but there are enough ways to balance this.
Put either a limit on it like you can do it only once a year or the person getting the account feature would should have a fairly new account meaning it is not older then 1 month for example.
Maybe even a supporter pack where you could get some nice things for yourself but also an option to give a x amount of points to another player.

I've also wanted a 'gift' option.

I did have a girl I liked lots. Wanted to gift her a mini-pet.
It seemed a 'big deal' asking, GGG. Having to be pushed up to 'manager' time, and such.

I did explain, the 'real life trade' would be for sexual favors, not money.
I think the managers looked at time played vs my crappy gear, and did decide I'm anti RMT as I said. ;-P


Tho I think it's 'madness' not to have a 'gift' button... I get some people would RMT, and it's pretty hard to bust/ban someone after they given you money, particually in 'some' of the countrys POE is in.


So yeah, I was super touched GGG did do it for me. Once.
But I felt bad wasting there time!

I'd def use the 'gift' button if they had it. MTX inspires you to play more, and if my friends make it to endgame, I'd love to be able to buy them something pretty.

Also, Char Rename. Seems something other games charge for and have a automatic system for.

I think that is the problem when the game is small it is easy to do such things for people who ask and even more if those people are contributors as you want to keep everyone happy.
But the game gets bigger and bigger and people cannot simply go to them with a request could you write of x amount of points of my account and gift other account with that item/feature.

They should really make it easier and with all items free to trade RMT is a problem anyway and saying that because of that risk they won't do gifts for other accounts is not the right reason I think.

So really hope GGG thinks about it and also the possibilities it might bring. I mean if you can get your friends playing and have fun the chances are that sooner or later they also want to invest more in the game.
And I cannot imagine how people can play this game without for example a currency tab, with all the divination cards, essences and god knows what more we get you have a storage problem sooner or later if you don't have tabs for that.

This needs to be implemented!

if u using steam, u can gift money there and he can buy stuff.
but i assume you would've had that idea already if ur poe were on steam eh?
