Points for Grinding and Reward System
Hey guys, I would like to give some thoughts on some kind of Point Reward System for PoE. It would be kinda like this: U get different Points for running maps (1 Point per Tier for example) and then u can exchange these Points for different Reward Boxes at the NPC.
There could be different Price Categories (for example 30, 60, 90, 120 Points) with different Rewards depending on the Box/Reward. So you could get a small reward everytime u have enough Points for one of these boxes. Rewards could be something like Currency, Divination cards, Experience potions, maps and other stuff. It would be something new and a nice way of some extra rewarding for hard and long grinds :) This idea is from a game i've played a long time ago. Yes! What this game definitely needs is more hand holding and more telling people exactly how to play.

" this idea doesn't exclude RNG from the system. i didn't mean that u get for example 1 Chaos from a for example 60 points box. The Boxes would be sth. like the divination cards: Get a random currency from it. or get a random tier 1-5 map from it or 6-10 map from it. Something like that. U can involve a lot of rng into it :D |

" This is not an argument tbh. There are so many examples which would proof you wrong. For example: Why were new skills released if u had already enough skills to do every concent of the game ? Because it's fun to mess around with those things and create something new. Why would you create new maps/bosses, if you already have bosses which drop everything u can get in the game ? Because it's fun... It's all about progress. New ideas lead to new content. Some ideas have more of an impact than others. This idea is a small one which could/would motivate players more to run a lot of maps because u can farm points and some extra stuff in addition to your regular map drops. |
