Latest update has removed all bars and UI

Hello all, so i updated as normal this morning but now when i go into the game, there are no bars atall, even the login screen is just a picture of the ship. By pressing ENTER on the keyboard twice i can get into game but the same issues occur there. No bars, health, abilities show up. If i go into the tree, only then will they show up, but the moment you exit they vanish with it. pressing 'I' moves the screen but no inventory shows up. Pressing escape brings up nothing. Im not sure what this latest patch has done but its thrown in some real issues. My computer and drivers are the most recent and up to date. This is only happened since latest patch. Would love some assistance or to know if this is happening to others to and ofcourse, if there is a way to fix it

I haven't seen any other reports of this particular issue. While it's possible that's down to most people being asleep since the update went live, it does make me wonder if perhaps it's not a widespread issue. Let's try troubleshooting this to see if we can fix it.

There's a file stored in \Documents\My Games\Path of Exile called production_Config.ini where various settings are saved by the game client. If you rename this production_Config.old then the next time you play Path of Exile it won't find the file, and will create a new one with default settings. If the update corrupted your settings file then this should fix things for you.

If this doesn't help them you can exit out of the client, delete production_Config.ini and rename the original file so that the game client is once again able to find it. If the problem didn't occur while testing default settings, the problem will naturally return if you do this.

Hiya Sarno, i did as requested changing the file names and seeing if it sorted the issue out. Unfortunatly its the same outcome with all bars missing, ive attached a picture of what the main screen looks like on load up

Same problem here, I could add some pictures, but you would just see the same ship again. :D
Already deinstalled all PoE content from my steam library, even the lootfilter, and reinstalled the game, still the same issue.
In addition I followed your production_config guide, no improvement. :(

I don't have this issue. However, graphical glitches here, too.
(Although that might be my laptop dying... however, other games still work fine.)

Same happens to me using AMD graphics.
Dx11 is pretty much impossible to play on with all the lag/fps stutters running near a pack of monsters and even standing in town.
16 Bit colour: Makes the screen stupidly dark and nearly impossible to see. (Wasn't an issue until a few patches ago.)
32 Bit colour: Makes all UI elements disappear.

Tried a few other things like renaming config files but no success. Hopefully something is done soon as i cannot play atm.

I have this issue as well, and would love to know how to fix it.

I've got the same issue but only when I open breach... I can see nothing, can do nothing, couldn't click my inventory, didn't see any drops when breach is open, any skills, HP, Mana, cannot click escape... I have the newest radeon soft updates but the problem is still there...

When I open breach domain and start run it it is the same, cannot see anything... :(((

Updated PoE on my Laptop (Nvidia), everything is fine, got my UI and bars.

Shit is still not working on my PC (AMD Radeon).
Funny fact is:
I can toggle my character stats and options if I keep the atlas or skill tree in the background, but with the normal view all bars and the whole UI disappear again.
