Rogue Exile killed while jumping chasm, cannot pick up tabula

Killed a rogue exile while it was jumping (leap slamming maybe) over a chasm. It dropped a tabula in the middle, no way to pick up! :( :( :( :( RIP 8c

Also tried with character with leap slam and no way could I happen to pick it up as I flew over it. Just cant click on it.
