" Me neither. Does it involve dungeon crawling and robust character customization? If so, I'm down. I am a poor freezingly cold soul

sad to say that I also have not been pulled into Minecraft
The path of exile holds him, not at all twisted gold, a frozen spirit, not the bounty of the earth.

I was just watching a video on it and saw that you can make swords and axes. Is there combat? Is the combat fun?

My interest was piqued so I went ahead and bought it. I played single player for the last couple of hours. It's been a while since I have played a game that was this solitary. I get a cool/slightly depressing feeling when playing it. Is that just me?
Unfortunately I'm directionless and have already lost a couple of my home bases. I gotta start marking things with big torch towers or something. I am a poor freezingly cold soul

Have a brother and a couple of friends that are big into this. Currently it is a game with no goals at all, really. Just an environment where you can make just about anything you can think of. Saw a video where someone was building a 1:1 scale of the Starship Enterprise.
I just can't see myself getting into it. Graphics don't matter to me, which is good since everything is basically a block or a stack of moving blocks. But if there is no goal I just can't seem to enjoy it. Others with more creativity might like it though. He could make it a "Lemmings" type game on a very large scale, where you have to find the exit and build a way to it in each "world" or something. Or have a goal of needed supplies/creations to move on to the next level. |
