Multistrike Stops When Vengeance Triggered?
Many times, I notice that Multistrike stops performing whenever Vengeance is triggered -- and it resumes when Vengeance has done its job. I don't link Vengeance with Multistrike, in fact, they're separated:
- Mace: Vengeance + Life gained on hit + Add Fire Damage - Boots: Vigilant Strike + Melee Splash + Multistrike + Add cold damage Another weird encounter was that, when my Vortex was triggered by Cast When Damage Taken, Multistrike sometimes stops performing too. I'm very sure that the enemies didn't use any skills that slow me down or chill me coz the slowness of Multistrike continues when all enemies died while I was hitting the air. Please let me know if this is a bug or I've missed out any other possibilities that could cause this to happen. Thank you. SIDE ISSUE: Also, when I use Endurance Cry, the red balls sometimes appear on enemies instead of my character -- but this I'm not sure if the enemies are generating endurance charges at the same time or not (but less likely because I was the one who activated endurance cry and no red balls surrounding me). Or GGG is actually trying to "serialize" every skill, including Spell, Attack, Trigger, except Auras? For example, when you link two valid spells to a Cast When Damage Taken support gem, only 1 of these 2 spells will be triggered and not simultaneously?
My point is: Is this a deliberate design or the limitation of PoE? If it is designed in purpose, then are those trigger gems still serving the purpose? If all skills have to be activated sequentially (and in queue), then might as well activated by players manually, why "trigger"? Some triggers are allowed to set multiple skills off at once (example being Kitava's Thirst helmet) so it's unlikely to be a limitation of the game.
Are you sure you're not being stunned? Since it's Vengeance and that triggers off getting hit, you could be getting stunned and that will stop the multistrike attack from finishing. Same thing for Cast When Damage Taken. The damage taken could be enough to stun you and trigger the CWDT while also stopping your attack. |

But if I was stunned, how can my Marauder continue hitting without the Multistrike? -- That's why I'm pretty sure that I wasn't stunned by the enemies unless 1 thing: They managed to slow me down "by disabling Multistrike", but again, can Multistrike be disabled when we're chilled? And 1 thing strange about the Multistrike: When I activate Endurance Cry, most of the time, it backs to normal. @_@ Shadow Character Build:
