Which Portal Effect looks coolest? Need advice!

I'd say the high end supporter pack ones are the best for sheer complexity and different from the standard portal.
but I'd also say, from my experience, that the mid range supporter pack portals are absolutely not worth it, since they are too tiny and muted to really be interesting, so now I just avoid supporter packs. I hate the feeling of a "same portal as the high end one, just a low quality version". I have 2 of them that I barely used for more then a few days. My "go to" portal, is either the perandus portal, or the voidgate portal. The ones I will probably never use are the icey triangle on from a league or two ago - it was such a let down to finally see that one, its just tiny and muted, and then the 1 from this league - not because its bad, but because the animation of the hand opening up to reveal the portal takes too long. " I agree with you on most points, but this one especially. Spending so much effort and then ruin it by such small size just blows my mind. That logic "it is free so we must protect our precious mtx's by obliterating it" just doesn't make any sense to me. I would buy MTX's regardless how cool free ones are, just because I get bored of them sooner or later. Alt Art items as League MTX - When?
