Trouble running Unofficial Mac port.

Hey guys, I've been trying to install Julus' unofficial port using Wineskin but I keep getting a variety of issues.
Whenever I start it up I get a D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY error message, I fiddle with the video settings in Wineskin and it fixes that but when the game boots up, the screen flickers like crazy. The HUD and main menu are completely fine but the menu background and the actual gameplay screen flicker.
I tried fixing this by messing with the in-game graphics settings and when this didn't work, Wineskin's screen settings and this caused another error to pop up when I start the game: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL. Nothing I do fixes this part.
I've tried reinstalling the game from scratch 3 times and the same progression has happened every time. Is there any way around this or is this just not meant to be run using Wineskin?

My specs are:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

Doesn't seem like it should be down to my hardware, I've seen people successfully run this port on MacBooks that are 4 years older than mine. Would appreciate any help.

post it in the unofficial mac port thread, you won't get anything official here and the right people that may help you would be posting in the unofficial thread
