cwdt+spell echo question

i have curse setup with spell echo on my helm, and cwdt setups on other items. tool tip says enfeeble curse cast time is "0.20 sec". so i wonder order and phase of two straight cast of my curse. i wrote some scenario that comes to my mind. could you write the correct mechanic?



hit the button->instant cast of first curse->mana usage->cwdt casts->20 sec curse cooldown->2. cast of curse with spell echo->20 sec curse cooldown->new curse cast->mana usage->cwdt cast->.......


hit the button-> 20 sec cast time->cast of first curse->mana usage->cwdt casts->20 sec cast time->2. cast of curse with spell echo->new curse cast->20 sec cast time->mana usage->cwdt casts->......

have no idea what you talking about. Can you explain in a sentence what do you try to find out?

its one big mess..

* when you hit the button spells dont cast instantly..
* when you link a spell to echo you cast two times for one mana cost..
* mana usage comes before the spell is cast (logic)..
* spell echo does not work with triggered spells..

hey sorry for the mess. i want to know exact time stamps of action when i cast curse with above setup. i use curse for self damaging with scold's and proc my cwdt. pledge's spell echo is not irrelevant with my question.

curse cast time is '0.20sec' on my tooltip. with repetition by spell echo, it is 0.40 sec. basically i want to know ho frequently i can proc my cwdt? hope, it is more clear now.

yes, it is

it is 0.4 because the cost is paid per action (second repeat is "free")

if there were no repeat it would be 0.4 anyways, because 0.2 is shorter then cwdt cooldown

edit: if you want to min-max trigger speed you are looking for the shortest cast time that is longer than cooldown given to your spells by cwdt (0.25s)
