Ming's Starforge Warchief Zerker - Chaos + Poison Fun



Hi everyone. This is an idea i had for 2handed warchiefs that could surpass disfavour. I wanted to use starforge and started thinking without elemental damage, how could i get the dps past disfavour? No hatred, No Hoa, No Toh . The answer ? MINGS HEART X 2. Each ring adds 20% of your physical damage as extra chaos damage so this totals 40% dmg boost as CHAOS. Also Sins rebirth and atziri flasks ARE HUGE, the first grants unholy might (30% of phys as extra chaos) and the second is 25% of phys as extra chaos. Ultimately this turned into even more chaos damage than physical, which is awesome. With flasks, if you look closely at the image above, we get to 317k per totem and 60-70% of that damage is CHAOS!!! . we get 100% chance to poison from snakebites and pacifism jewels and because we are pure chaos/phys every ounce of our dps goes towards poison dmg.

Going from disfavour to this build i had to get a belly of beast instead of brass dome and this definitely lost tankiness. I managed to keep 5700 life AFTER ming reduction which is what i had previously. What i did to counteract the loss of armor was grab the most armor i could on my other slots (vangaurd belt, high armor helm and boot, armor roll on amulet etc) and i ran defensive auras which can be aa + either grace or determination depending on your gear. Im getting a little bit more out of grace atm so im running about 50-60% phys reduction when ec are up and 40+ chance to evade with 5700 life.

Lastly Jewel slots are important to maximize this build. I have 7 total now 3 are for pacifism poison trick and 4 are for shock Life and any dps you can add. Try for area or totem on your jewels as those damages will boost phys chaos and poison damages. Physical or chaos damage if you cant find those.

6L - warchief totem, melee physical damage, melee damage on full life, faster attacks, void manipulation and conc or inc area effect for boss or clear

the rest is very flexible , as berzerker with warbringer you want enduring and if possible rallying cry on BM and inc area duration possibly. Immortal call on cwdt is good and I use leap slam with faster attacks

Because of starforges no elemental damage effect the only aura that would boost dps is haste and I didnt get a ton of dps from this. Instead i recomend to boost defense. IFF we got a little closer to enemies id consider blasphemys but not only do i get my vulnerability on hit from my glove corruption, i dont feel like running into stuff to curse it. I have bounced around on what auras i use, AA is a constant i love the physical reduction for such a small amount of mana reserved. For the rest I have used grace, determination, and now im using Purity of Fire and Lightning. I felt like the only thing that was really threatening me was elemental damage

Why do you think that?
I was disfavour before this same build as the destroyer of atlas guide It was very good and fun but this has a higher TT for me and my TT went from being 50% phys and 50% elemental to 50/50 phys chaos , and with flasks up to 1/3 phys 2/3 chaos so the damage is not only much more effective but it ALL applys to poison instead of just half
