[2.5] HC Scorching Ray /Vortex CWC Life Based, I need your help

thank you in advance for helping me!

I would like to know, if this build could work lategame.

I really fell in love with vortex, i followed a guide with bleach cwc vortex, turning ele damage into chaos, but i didnt really like it. Was on a Witch and i have to say i hate the CI Meta...

My Gem Setup would be:

- Scorching Ray - Vortex - CWC - Controlled Destruction - Increased AOE (maybe Empower later)
- Blasphemy - Enfeeble - AA - Flammability (95% res mana)
(or would it be better to use clarity , curse on hit flammability and use MOM=?)
- Shield Charge - Faster Attacks - Fortify
- CWDT - Chaos Golem - Tempest Shield
- CWDT - Immortal Call - Molten Shell - Incresed Duration

As Uniques i would use:

- Pyre, to turn cold to fire
- Divanarius for increased aoe and shield charge
- and maybe Carcass Jacket for bigger aoe

Main focus on the rest of the equipment is life, armor, resistance and a big shield ;)

Currently 159% increased life, with 5x gems 6% Life @ around 190% + life
Took every % life node that was close.

Could this work?
