Need help with Kitava's flicker

Recently found a Kitava's Feast and wanted to build a CI flicker strike build around it. I know its a lot of pathing but with melee dmg + melee dmg full life I figured dps would end up better than where I am at.

Dried lake farming is insane, I hovered around 200m/hr while lvling up to where I am now. I ran a zana rot and a few t5's and the dps just isn't there. I lose charge generation when I have spend 3-4 multistrike flickers per pack.

Bodhe

tree

Next I am headed to Unwavering to drop the ammy and will pick up a bit of dps there. Currently only generating charges with the raider node and frenzy to start off a map. After that Hatchet master.

Tooltip at 7800 dps flicker with 6 charges and atziri flask, 7k es, max res.

Need some help from people better at this than me.

Thanks!

Wow, I was just looking into a CI Kitava's Flicker build, and then I found your post from just yesterday. Great coincidence.

I'm playing a Raider flicker striker, and mostly followed this guide: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1774158, going life-based, staff crit with Hegemony's Era. You can also see my character (DinoStriker) at https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Dinotim/characters.

Long story short, I'm at 4.5K hp, 55K DPS with only charges, 78K with Hatred up. Slowly collecting more maps, it goes pretty smoothly at T6 at the moment.

Anyhow, now for the relevant part :P
I have been eyeballing Kitava's Feast from the start of this character, thinking that it looked like a very sweet weapon, but (a) it was expensive at the start of the league, and (b) I had/have no idea how to make a build around it.

My two biggest question right now are:

(1) What gems to use?
The only obviously good ones being Flicker, Multi, Splash, and MPhys. Come to think of it, one of my reasons to go CI would be the MPhys on Full Life support. Otherwise, it would make sense to go elemental with Added Fire and WED, but I don't like the idea that so much of that will be resisted by strong enemies.

(2) How to make a tree with CI and RT (and Unwavering)
I must say your 2H-melee + CI tree looks better than in my imagination, but getting RT is still hard.

Hope that we can work out a cool concept that I can respec to at some point!
