Failed to Initialise [Solved]

Hello, I recieve a Failed to initialise error when starting the game, on both the Steam version and standalone client. I've tried several solutions to this problem, such as changing keyboard languaje profile (deleting the original and adding it back again) and the use of FixPoeFont, as well as making sure Windows Firewall is activated. I also tried "verifiy game cache" option from Steam, and reinstalled the game several times. I tried several launch parameters like --nosound and --noasync with no results. I'm running the game as administrator. The Client.txt log is as follows:

2016/12/25 16:18:37 ***** LOG FILE OPENING *****
2016/12/25 16:18:41 255881156 ff [INFO Client 4980] Changing to device "Altavoces (Realtek High Definition Audio)"
2016/12/25 16:18:42 255881812 305 [CRIT Client 4980] Failed to initialise UI::Core with error code 4

The Client.Worker files are all about not being able to find resource files like amd_table, sm_table, ast_table and fm_table

My System consists of fx-8350, GTX 960 and 16 GB DDR3 RAM (Windows 10 64b)

The game worked fine on previous versions (Atlas of Worlds launch) as well, in the same system.

I emailed support about this but they're having some problems with the recent load of requests, so they asked me to write this thread.

Any ideas ? Thanks for your time.

EDIT: Someone posted a solution in another thread recently, and it worked for me, so I'll add it here

I was used to force quit Dark Souls from the Task Manager so I could skip the intro when closing the game. So today I opened it again, the closed it as intended from the menu. PoE works now, just like it used to.

devs probably would need a dxdiag report to get precise details of your sound chipset as well as driver versions.

did you try to update your sound drivers?
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
No solution yet. The sound drivers are up to date. dxdiag says this about sound sysem:
