Green Nightmare and Sanctuary passives

The Green Nightmare Veridian Jewel does not receive the dodge bonus from the all elemental resists via the Sanctuary passive branch. The wording on Green Nightmare indicates that it should.

No, it shouldn't. Even by the wording.

Check the description of "Sanctuary" and "Faith and Steel" passives. See the difference?
Sanctuary is "a conditional modifier" ("while holding a shield").

Nowhere in the jewel description you can find "Passives granting Cold Resistance or all Elemental Resistances WHILE HOLDING A SHIELD" line.

No need to argue about it here. That's how GGG coded this for now.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. Is this the standard for GGG phrasing rules, that conditionals are exclusive as opposed to inclusive?

It's their weird and not always intuitive wording, yes =)

Nevertheless, people are agitating for change in those jewels (Nightmare ones) at F&S forum, try your luck \^_^

I have question is jewels cout as passives ??

What i meanis put Green Nightam in scion " Sentinel" area And then put cold ress jewells in other scion jewels slots. Radius is big enough to cover it. But if cold res form jewells will be added as dodge?
No, Jewels are not passives.

posting here my suggestion thread.

For anyone responding, to me this is a syntax error of some kind, there are no other passives in the tree that grant res with this wording, every other one is all res.
"When I close my eyes, I see this thing, a sign, I see this name in bright blue neon lights with a purple outline. And this name is so bright and so sharp that the sign - it just blows up because the name is so powerful... It says, "Diamond Supporter."
Bump with more info.

Now that I know exactly how Red Dream works, in as much as each node is calculated independently from every other node this means that:

1. The templar section is 13 points for 14 total "stat" block\dodge etc.
2. Marauder section is 11 points for 13 total block.
3. For the Red dream alone, the Marauder would spend 15 points to get 19 block
4. Templar would spend 15 points to get 19 total block (assuming Sanctuary section worked with the jewels).

Please I'd really like GGG to look at this, I made templar before the league came out with the express purpose of using the Red Dream in the templar spot, and I still believe with all this information that it was merely a syntax\formatting error.

Thank you for the reports, we'll get this fixed up!
Thanks Henry for the good news... the Sanctuary passive bug hampered my build for a whole month...

While we are on the topic of Dream and Nightmare jewels - does anyone know if the Dream and Nightmare jewel stack? So for instance can you have one Red Dream and one Red Nightmare equipped? They both have "limit: 1" but they are technically a different item... Just wanted to know before i spend tons of money buying two jewels only to find out it doesnt work.

Thanks
