Hello,
What is this problem? After last patch it have done it. Third time now it crashed because of this:  Is there some problem with my graphic card? Last bumped on Dec 30, 2016, 3:20:27 AM

Edit your posts and include the specs of your pc and what is operating system ur using is it Windows 10,7 (Ultimate,premium,home) etc.Download speccy if you like and copy paste all the information about your computer from there here.If you do have windows, go in search and type DxDiag, DirectX diagnostic tool will pop up and copy paste the info from there as well.Include as well information if you did recently any format on your hard drive.Check your antivirus and run a scan just do be sure is not a virus and stop pumping your thread because you will wait longer in line than you should have. Also have a look in the first 3 sticky threads this forum section have, altho it maybe a pain in the neck to read for you.

I have played now about 1-2 years with same computer and this has never happend before, that's why I posted it here. I have ran antivirus and nothing there. Check your graphics card can handle Pixel Shader 3.0 Check that your PC isn’t defaulting to the Integrated card, which can usually be done by right-clicking on the Path of Exile shortcut and choosing to run the game with the dedicated graphics card. You may have an old production_config.ini file in Documents/My Games/Path of Exile. Remove this file and try loading the game again. You can try three things,
1. Update DirectX To do so, go to the official Microsoft website and download all recommended updates. 2. Deinstall and reinstall your GPU drivers You are running and AMD mobile card, so go to the AMD website and install the newest drivers. Make sure, to filly deinstall your old drivers, the instructions can be found at the AMD website. 3. Delete production_Config You can find this file at documents/my games/Path of Exile. Make sure to make a back up. If this all didn´t work, lower the shader settings in said file. max_PS_shader_model=ps_4_0 max_VS_shader_model=vs_4_0 Lower it to 1. max_PS_shader_model=ps_1_0 max_VS_shader_model=vs_1_0 |

" Pity :( you can try two more things. Disable Windows Aero, run the game in windowed fullscreen. I remember getting this error a few patches ago, when I wanted to run the game in fullscreen. They have broken something with their Dx11 release, Windows reserves DX for it´s purpose and POE can not run without it. Usually, the developers have to code in an exception, so that POE can run without exclusive rights for running DX, but I suppose the GGG guys are unable to do this, as I bet they are aware of that fix, after all they make a living from writing game code ;) |
