righteous fire + grand spectrum
Is it real to build rf + grand sperctrum? there is no question about skill tree or gears, but about the increases of damage. Will grand spectrums increase rf's burning damage? And if you can see me a similar build, pls see me. I tried to find something but found nothing.

" " It's exactly a question about the Skill tree. You'll be looking at a Life RF build probably, which is a trademark "cheap to start" build - what this means is, it's taxing the (free) Passive tree for all its worth to relieve (costly) gear stress. Grand Spectrum adds more Passive tree pressure, and instantly makes it an expensive build. You could do it, but it just seems really counter-intuitive? You'd be giving up some survivability (key feature of RF) for Damage. There's also the question whether 10 Grand Spectra is noticably better than just getting eight Jewels with 6-7% Life and 15-30% Increased Damage (or Life + 10-20% Damage + Strength, for Doom Cube). That's kind of a pain in the ass to calculate though, and I don't feel like that right now... Sorry.
RF clearspeed sidenote
ES RF is pretty much as-fast in clearing packs as Blade Vortex (sprint past a pack -> everything dies), it's just a bit slower on bosses due to not being a Poison delivery mechanism. ES RF is not "budget" though, and kinda dumb to level :P

Yeah, I'm with Vipermagi on this one.
RF already needs to invest a pretty solid amount of the tree in getting regen, especially if you want to get regen in excess of RF... while that does generally get you close to 6-7 jewel sockets, it'd take a lot of extra passives that you just likely won't have to get the other 5-6 jewel sockets to make viridian grand spectrums worthwhile (i'm assuming we're talking non-legacy spectrums, so it's gonna take around 12 of them for each to outclass the pure damage jewels they'd be competing with, and frankly life+damage jewels would still be a better choice overall). I'm sure it's do-able, but I'd just have to question the effectiveness compared to the alternatives, especially for the cost. However, if you wanna do RF with *crimson* grand spectrums, that's perfectly reasonable... only takes 8 of those to get 4.8k base armor, which with an RF tree is pretty easy to turn into ~18k armor without gear or flasks... it's pretty neat being able to run around in a tabula with nearly 20k armor unbuffed.
