I was wondering why xirgil's crank seemed more expensive this league... It's YOUR fault! Q.Q

On a more serious note, I did some tinkering with this build back in perdy league when reckless defence first came out, and before the nerf to enfeeble. With about 9kes and max block, about the only thing I came across that had comparable tankiness was aegis.

Some points worth considering in 2.6:

WATCH OUT FOR SECONDARY DAMAGE! Seriously, it is about the only thing that will kill you. Burning ground, searing bond type beams, bleeds, earthquake aoe. Originally, a bug caused the recharge never to start if you were under the effect of a degen effect(can anyone confirm if this has been fixed?) You can't block them, which means you don't get the regen.

The build is also very suceptable to stuns and freezes due to your low health pool.

I'd reccomend using at least 3 flasks to deal with this. One for ignite, one for bleed, one for freeze. (I prefer mana flasks with "gain a charge on crit taken" which fill as fast as you can use them. It also solves any mana regen issues. Silver and quicksilvers are good too.)

Stun is more of a pain in the ass. It's a long way to go to get the stun immunity passive. Your other alternatives are replacing the anvil with eye of chahuya or your boots with kaoms roots, though I found neither option to be particularly satisfactory.



The other issue I've had with this build was finding an offensive option that has satisfactory dps and clearspeed. Currently testing EK crit nova with the new threshold jewel to try to solve this. In any case, your tankiness comes at a price. Expect to be considerably less lethal than a typical meta biild.



Bated breath is actually a good option for your belt slot. 50% es recharge is worth about 10% es regen. Not a bad tradeoff for a little es, and resists that you can get elsewhere.

The newly improved belt of the deciever may also be worth considering. It helps deal with crits, and 10% increased damage taken from Intimidate is not insignificant to your dps. Currently in the process of playtesting this myself.

Gifts from above might be a nice ring if you decide to go crit, and need to get there on a budget, 5% block and 4% regen(with zealot's oath)

Could this work with cast when channeling gem ( scorching ray+ firestorm?)

Hey Can You maybe Make your characters Public really would Like to See what You built I am currently using blight but Damage is really Low since i only have a 4L and Not empower and since pahbos tree is gone due to changes id Like to See what youve done so far

Since xirgi is providing 35% Block I was thinking of 5 reckless defense + the staff nodes left to templar that would be 35+12+20 = 67block and spellblock since i am using chayula and dreamfragments aswell aß an -7 crafted elreon Ring i Cant Go anvil another Option would be rumis and only 3-4 reckless defense.

Is "Valyrium" necessary?
