just a fair warning, high cost for a free POE t-shirt

My first shirt came no problems and free but the atlas of world t-shirt i just got a message from customs asking what it was and i had to fill out a form and send it back to them, they also mentioned that i may have to pay a fee.
If this is the case i will be contacting support cause i am not paying 25 bucks for a free shirt.
I am also from the netherlands btw.

Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them

yup same happened to me....maby you can call them and let them open the package as there is a reciept inside for 1$ and that would make it pretty much free...
You got scammed bro, you shouldn't've paid VAT for a $1 shirt...
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
It is the high price to get a pack with a shirt that gets me... I would like to have a shirt or two....

You should ask the VAT back. It was a gift. They are not allowed to ask tax for that. (I am from NL)
I've had 3 shirts so far and never had any issues with it.
Payed for the supporter pack, got shirt.
And i'm from the Netherlands aswell.

Maybe i missed something but i doubt it.

The gift trick was overused, doesn't cut it anymore in most of the EU countries. The Customs claim SWIFT. The policy of Customs around EU vary, of course. Some are cute, some are evil, sometimes shit accidentally happens.

If there's no invoice in the package, and that's the case I guess, the best one can do is to show a SWIFT of a lower payment to the same company, of a proper date. If one has already faced troubles, in future it's better to make a small purchase just before buying the supporter pack, to have a convenient SWIFT.

As I use to order a lot of goods from China, I usually split the payment, the seller attaches the lower invoice to the goods, and I show the lower SWIFT at the Customs.
But I guess this won't work when buying packs from ggg.

when you buy packs you get that value in GGG points.

You are basically buying GGG points with free gifts attached. There should be no VAT.
