OKAY! So you've opened the guide and are wondering what is the premise of this build.

My goal when creating a build around the Razor of the Seventh Sun was simple: Burn everything.

We do that, and we do it well. However, Physical to Fire conversion is no easy task, it's a multi step process.

Here's how I did it:

1. Avatar of Fire - I've read that this is an underused and underpowered skill node. When I received one of these swords downing phoenix I knew I had to create a build around it. What better skill to do that with than our good friend Blade Flurry! This only converts 50% of your phys, however, and now you deal nothing but fire dmg. How did we get the other 50%?

2. Physical to Lightning Support
- Converts 50% of your phys to lightning damage. The lost 50% from AoF is converted to lightning with this gem.

3. Call of the brotherhood - We're converting that lightning into cold now! However it's still not fire damage, so it's not doing anything for us.

4. Pyre - Converts our long lost cold damage into fire, thus giving us 100% phys to fire conversion!

Strengths and Weaknesses of the build


Strengths:

-BURN THEM ALL
-Effective for all content in game
-Crazy fun to play
-Can PVP due to tankyness/mobility
-Can do all map mods!
-UNIQUES FOR DAYS!
-HC viable 100% (path to life nodes before ignite nodes and you'll be fine)
-ELE REFLECT NO PROBLEM! (stutter channel, let the ignites do the work)


Weaknesses:
-entire build end game cost is around 5ex, so although not the cheapest build in the game, it is not the most expensive
-hex proof maps probably slightly annoying, although a non issue.

Build mechanic introduction:

Defences:

This build is very interesting due to the mechanic of stacking as much strength as possible without limiting your template / ignites. I am stacking strength, ignite chance, and life/resist wherever I can slot them. The build functions on an incredible synergy of uniques, and we'll get to that in a moment!

Reflect Damage

I have only encountered solo mobs thus far, and you are fine with that in this build. you'll never rip to a solo reflect mob.

Why the CHIEFTAIN?


- 15% IGNITE CHANCE + 35% MORE DAMAGE TO BURNING ENEMIES. Mix this in with your swords and you are going to see why it's so important to be chieftain.
- Extra resists, strength, armor, and general tankiness! We need those resists!
- Between the fire damage, leech, life regen, and overall synergy with our unique choices, chieftain was by far the best ascendancy choice for full conversion of physical to fire with the blade flurry skill.
-BEST OPTION FOR BUDGET

Why the ZERK?
-MORE DAMAGE
-MORE LEECH
-NO NEED FOR WARLORDS MARK
-MORE DAMAGE
-BIGGER IGNITES

Damage setup:

- Blade Flurry, Faster Attacks, Melee Physical Damage, Inc. Area of Effect/CONC effect, weapon elemental damage & PHYSICAL TO LIGHTNING SUPPORT (100% MANDATORY FOR THE BUILD)

Conc effect instead of aoe on bosses, bigger ignites.

Defensive Utility Setups :

4L: cwdt 9, immortal call 11, molten shell (14), increased duration (20)

3L: CWDT (9) , VORTEX (12), BLOOD RAGE (FRENZY CHARGEEEEES)

CURSE SETUP: Must be in your helmet (black sun crest, geoffri's, rare, or abyssus)-

IF DUAL CURSE
1. Flammability (10% ignite duration + -fire res)
2. Warlord's Mark (if chieftain) - ELE WEAKNESS (IF ZERKER)
3. Blasphemy
4. Enlighten lvl 3


IF FULL DAMAGE:
1. HATRED
2. ENLIGHTEN
3. FLAMMABILITY
4. BLASPHEMY

Mobility & Utility:

- whirling blades, blood magic, faster attacks, fortify support

- 2L: CWDT 9 + FLAME GOLEM 11

- 1S: Herald of Ash

AS OF 12/25/16 ZERKER IS THE #1 CHOICE FOR THIS BUILD!

ZERKER:
ASCENDANCY POINTS: PAIN REAVER -> CLOAK -> CRAVE -> ASPECT OF CARNAGE


Ascendancy Class: The CHIEFTAIN
Ascendancy Points: Ngamahu --> Tawhoa --> Hinekora --> Ramako (ignite immunity)

END GAME SKILL TREE: (lvl 91) NEW NON DUAL CURSE SETUP



Go for life nodes first, then chase ignite all over the tree if SC, if HC go for the life and defense nodes first, get templar ignite nodes first and grab fire ignite up top after scion wheel.

Seems a awesome build, i have currency for the Seventh Sun's and Call of the Brotherhood.

Will this work without Abberath's for a while?
absolutely. you could do this without stacking str, go with rare boots (and get more resist), and also use a geofri's helmet (again, for more resist while keeping the +1) and still do good damage.

however, the ignite chance on the boots helps you out early, but since you're leveling with blade flurry or EQ and a 2h, anything can get you to 68. just make sure you go after the ignite chance nodes on the tree ASAP.

once you get the boots though, make sure you look to stack strength. i'm sitting at over 800 right now, and that's a pretty large fire bonus from the boots + the ignite chance.

even without the boots though you can get to 50% ignite, the boots are just nice because you can get bonus ignite chance through lab if you have not crit recently (and we never crit with RT). so you can get double ignite chance on boots, which is really nice.

i'll put together a full, detailed guide within the next few days.

ADDED T14 VOLCANO VIDEO, build is 100% uber az / shaper viable at end game, for sure.
added shaped strand run.
currently 82, uber lab is on farm, and the build really excels at lab. did some t15s today too, was a good day.
SO after running more numbers, the str helm + str jewels isn't necessary as you can squeeze more fire damage out of it by going rare jewels + a rare helm w/ bf imbue or abyssus

will reflect those changes in the guide tonight!
added xoph/tul/esh (EZ mode. delete them!)

also swapped helm to abyssus

Its not MORE Multiplier but increased. way less important :)

im glad you brought this up!

i have actually swapped to berserker to test it out, since i can use ele weakness + FLAMMABILITY and drop warlords mark.

ill be updating the guide as i go!
