Error on Mac: D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY
I am trying to play, but I keep getting this error msg:
D3DERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY my game was working fine, but then after updating to 5.2 (newest version) it quit and when I logged back in after about 15-30 sec I am getting a bunch of pop-up exceptions all w variations of this error. I'm playing on a Mac: OS: Sierra 10.12.2 Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 Mem: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB How can I either bypass this error (via settings) or do something to fix it? " question.. have you always played on integrated graphics or is this a new thing? ..because if so that may be part of your issue. a dedicated graphics card is definitely going to be the best thing here. also, i don't recall PoE even having a MAC version. so aren't you running it through a VM? depending that kind of thing can do all sorts of stuff depending on your settings for the VM. | |
Having the same issue... Has any one found an solution? Im running an mac as well.... Ive ran World of Warcraft Legion with out any issues..... Should be able to handle this game just fine all... any dev or mod help?

In case this is still unanswered. I found this via google. I helped myself. The solution to me was very logical. If using playonmac just go to configure/display/video ram and set it to whatever max you can.

If you still haven't solved the problem, i followed this guy's youtube video to fix the same issue.

" ah yes playonmac. i often use the equivalent "playonlinux" for linux. ya some games just have to have that graphics card setting defined. i hope that solves everyones problem. in playonlinux i think the max is only 4k memory so that is what i have to set it to even though i have 8k on the graphics card. not like PoE uses that much anyway. i looked at it one time and the most i seen it using was 2k even on the 64bit DX11 client. |
