Do I have to complete Labyrinth for each new build?

Hi I have a question about the labyrinth and ascendancy. Do I have to complete the labyrinth for each new build? For example I have a witch, templar, ranger. Would I have to complete labyrinth on normal/cruel/merciless for each one plus the end-game labyrinth? Meaning 4 x 3 = 12 times?

What happens when version 3.0 is released which they say will cut the cruel difficulty?

Also I noticed the door to the labyrinth is open even for my second and third builds without having completed the dungeons to open it like the first time. Does this mean I can skip those dungeons for new builds?

depends on what you mean by "those dungeons." If you mean the Ascendancy Trials (found in The Prison, The Crypt, Chamber of Sins, Hedge Maze, Crematorium, Catacombs):

if you mean The Labyrinth:

No

Currently, Ascendancy Trial completion is shared between all characters within a League within an Account. So if you only play on Standard League, you will never ever have to play the Trials ever again.

Thanks for the reply. I am also wondering about the enchantment on gloves, boots, helm upon completing the labyrinth. Is it possible to hold it pending for later if we don't have anything to enchant at the time? Same with quest rewards in town. Just wondering if they will still be there if we want to save them for later.

No

Enchants are use-it-or-lose it; if you don't enchant at the Divine Font, then exit the Labyrinth, you lose that enchant forever.

Yes

Your quest state is saved whenever something important happens, so unless there is an unexpected server failure (also known as a rollback), you can turn in your quest whenever you're ready.

Often, I had no inventory space for Book of Regret or Book of Skill, so I clicked away to sell or store items first. Then, I just went back to the quest NPC, and clicked the dialogue option line that says "{Quest Name} Reward" such as "Dweller of the Deep Reward"

The answer is no and yes. the mini trails only has to be done once by one character. it will carry over to the other characters you create in the same league. The labyrinth itself, however, you have to complete with each character if you want the bonuses for that character.
