Help with Concept (Two Handed Swordsman)

Hey guys, I'm enjoying just hitting things with yonder two handed sword and would like some help getting some direction passed my planned 'core', I am a fairly new player, having no characters SERIOUSLY past act one.

The Key part of what I want to look into is Two Handed Swords with lots of Attack Speed, though past this core, it seems like a lot of the nodes are really outbranching (Brutal Blade out by Ranger, or Blade Mastery out in front of Marauder) and I'm not sure if I it'd be wise to go reach out to those, or if I should get some utility stuff closer to home. (Life Leech from Hematophagy isn't far away to help keep up while in the mix and all that.)

I'll take all advice with a grain of salt, and I'm not looking for turning this into an end all, be all top farming end game build, just something a little more casual that could use with a bit of direction.
