Another victim of the mass hack

I was also hacked along with all the others it seems and someone tried to force there way in to my email but were shut out. Lost everything of value on my HC character, most currency wiped clean. The items I had equipped were still in my inventory, but my entire stack was wiped clean of all the good items I had saved waiting to sell. GG, guys I'm hoping there will be some account rollbacks, or at least something because this seems to be a mass problem. blah blah blah, no I'm not using same pws ect. Don't just post on here claiming its all my fault. I've had tens of online game accounts before and never had this problem.



Edit: Did anyone else happen to have their account with a stored password? Thinking maybe that could somehow be apart of it.

I was hacked too, and I have never used the same login/pass for ANY other site, nor have I entered it besides this official POE site and to log in ingame, I'm about 90% sure there's a java/flash vulnerability (from any third party site, like poe.xyz etc) that's stealing peoples stored hash login info and then jacking specific items/all currency until inventory is full or something, then trading it off.

GGG could track items, ban the culprit, and get items back to the original owner but that's too much work for them, so they just do a zero tolerance policy and blame the consumer

Has there been a case where it wasn't the fault of the consumer? I remember this happening in D3 and after investigating, it seemed it was all to blame to account info just being phished due to using maleficent websites and programs.

Sorry for bumping my old post, but is there anyway to get my account rolled back from that long a time ago. Really been wanting to play again, I loved the game. Just really disheartened on the hacking and the generic "it was my fault" responses.

Edit: Also just noticed that they had killed my HC Mara and put him in default league....

You should have noticed by now that GGG will not restore or replace anything lost in a hack, you could contact support and try push the matter so they'll investigate how you got hacked and so far the majority of cases has been down to the user
