Ghost Reaver & Brutal Fervor

Looking at the flavor text for Brutal Favor states: "+10% of maximum life per second to maximum life leech rate"
If you plan on going CI and pick up the 'Ghost Reaver' (Life Leech is applied to Energy Shield) node on the way - does Brutal Favor then calculate off of your ES, or is it still life based which with CI would equal a 0.01% increase? Patch Notes 3.15: Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive. Patch Notes 3.19: Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. Brutal Fervor does not apply at all to ES, even with ghost reaver, unfortunately.
