Can I access the file for the <default> item filter? (Simple question)
I was hoping to make a custom loot filter for myself, and I really want to copy the default in-game filter as a base for my new one. Can I access the default loot filter in my game files? And if so, where is it/what is it called?

Never seen a default loot filter. I would assume that it just displays everything like the game always did before filters were a thing.
Go here: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1487111 and scroll down to filters. "Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

You don't need a default item filter to make your own. But if you really want.. default.filter can founded in Content.ggpk > Metadata > ItemFilters > default.filter
12k rows file.. can be extracted with a VisualGGPK tool. |

I really wish that GGG would also make it easily available in the default location for other item filters. :(

" The new Default filter is actually just 'One Filter To Rule Them All" with a few very minor changes. If you want to use the same base filter as the "default" filter in game, I would use Muldini's One Filter and modify off of that. You can find that filter HERE. U MAD?
