[2.5] My Raider is now a RacecaR. Send help! (CI Crit Blade Flurry w/ Dual Scourges!)

Courtesy of Mradnor

With the axe that killed the Wormblaster 3 (literally The Sarn Arena Crasher), we now learn that the Raider has metaphysically transcended flesh and have became a mode of transportation. I poked around and made this thing:

Ascendancy
Way of the Poacher -> Avatar of the Slaughter -> Rapid Assault -> Avatar of the Chase

Links
6l: Blade Flurry + Melee Damage on Full Life + Melee Physical Damage + Increased Area of Effect (or Conc Effect) + Increased Crit Strikes + Poison (Increased Crit Damage if you can get a Voidheart)

4l: Discipline + Hatred + Orb of Storm + Power Charge on Crit (power charges for bosses)

4l: Herald of Thunder + Curse on Hit + Ass Mark + Ice Golem (power charges on the go cuz we a speed demon!)

4l: Cast on Damage Taken + Immortal Call + Increased Duration + Vaal Haste

3l: Wither + Spell Totem + Faster Casting

3l: Whirling Blades + Faster Attacks + Fortify

Leveling

Create a Shadow and yolo all the way to Town to pick up Fire Trap, one of the best AoE leveling gem in the beginning of the game. Then we want to finish the side quest Mercy Mission (grab the Medicine Chest) for an additional Quicksilver Flask. Go back to town and sell everything, but also check vendor for any +1 to gems weapons. (Personally I would also pick up Ethereal Knives from Nessa for more damage.)

Now we create our Speedy McGee.

Prioritize life before damage. You can't kill shit if you dead. Dying and slowing down the leveling process is a big no no for our NASCAR. Also, pick up a Clarity from poe.trade to fix your mana while leveling. Play whatever fits your play style, but rule of thumb is avoid stuff that will take more than half a minute to kill (or can kill you in seconds), they aren't really worth it while we're leveling. The important thing is to keep moving!

Also, I heard Bladefall totem may be good for leveling, but who knows if we even need it with Blade Flurry clearing mobs off screen. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bandits
Passive, Passive (or Attack Speed), Frenzy Charge

I usually transition to CI at level 68 when we have access to Vaal Regalia. Check out Ziz's video on crafting your own ES gear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQd11LoVAvw.

The idea stemmed from the Shaper deletion character that zabosnu came up with (check out his build: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1769788), and it, surprisingly, did something that even Mathil wasn't able to influence:

Remember when this thing was 3c?

And also non-MTX pets ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

Anyway, pair with Darkray Vectors for max 7 frenzy charges, CI, Vaal Pact, Ghost Reaver, and infinite Onslaught, it's starting to look a little ridiculous.

Finally, I want to note that an Assassin will do much, muuuch, more damage, but for me, this is going to be a good map clearing league starter build. And since this is my first build, I would really appreciate you guys' positive input.

Uber Atziri/Izaro viable? Shaper? Any gear recommendations for end-game? So many questions...

His build is interesting, though a lot of the items he uses are expensive so I'm not sure how this will feel for the new league. The flask can be substituted, but what about Skyforths? No telling how much the claws will be worth in the new league.
Hey man,

I'm interested in playing this build as a starter for Breach.

Can you maybe give some insight, or even some passive trees (like 20pt, 40pt, 60pt, 80pt, transition to CI)on how you plan on progressing through the passive tree? Also I would like to know when you plan to / can recommend the transition from Life or Hybrid to CI?

Also what about the Bandits?

Thanks in advance and GL for the new League

Yea I thought about that too, the Scourge is really the only pricey thing for this build. It's a novelty item for me (and I'm kinda obsessed with minions, so the wolfs will have to do). The % increased damage from the claws because of the minion gimmick is aight, but there are other options. I don't need a Shav's (we're CI, and we get more ES anyway from other chest options) or a Skyforth (stun immunity can be achieved with a corrupted Chayula with minion damage or mitigated with a Valyrium). So overall, the gear is not that bad.

Just updated the build with some leveling tips and bandits. Some people will tell you that's not enough life, but screw them! Jk, Those same people can maybe give me some advice, lol. Overall, in the last couple leagues I played with all the CI toons I made, ~100% increased life has carried me deathless to merciless dried lake, so I think it should be fine.

Hell yea! That's why CI melee is a thing. With Chaos Inoculation, you have 1/1 life. That means you are either 100% or dead.
