[2.5 theory] CI/LL Quad Fire Golem Elementalist.

Brainstorming
Whoo! Fire golem got buffed big time! what do you guys think the best way to abuse this is? I was thinking:

2x Clayshaper
Spell damage+Fire damage+Minion damage+cast speed on the tree
Haste Aura (Wrath+Anger as well once you can go LL)
2x Curses (Ele weakness+Flammability)
Along with elemental equilibrium from the tree.

below are my attempts at a skill tree and links - any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

Level 90

250% increased ES

317% increased golem damage
30% increased cast speed(Not including haste aura)

Flame Golem > Elemental Focus > Controlled Destruction > Fire Penetration > Minion Damage > Faster Casting

Ball Lightning > GMP > Curse on Hit > Elemental Weakness > Flammability > Faster Projectiles

Haste > Discipline > Vaal Haste > Vaal Disicpline

Lightning Warp > Faster Casting > Less Duration


Items

2x Clayshaper is the only thing required for this build - eventually you do want a shavs for low life pain attunement. At that point you will run Anger+Wrath on blood magic gem for more DPS.

Just stack ES, Resists, fire damage, and cast speed on all the gear you can. More proj speed for quality of life for your Ball Lightning is always a plus.

Bandits is kill all.

You better replace Faster casting with spell echo since it works with Flame golem ability and also add GMP is an 'hidden' buff to DPS since it can hit multiple times the same target

All fire/spell/elemental damage from your tree doesnt affect your golem unless it says "minion".

Also taking elementalist for just +1 golem node is stupid. Necro would be better option.

Golem keywords are Spell, Fire, Minion, Golem. How does spell/fire/ele not work with him?


By going elementalist you also make your golem immune to elemental damage, which is a pretty big deal. Along with all the elemental damage boosts. Not to mention giving you 25% more damage (4 instead of 3 golems.)

So, you think Instead of controlled destruction and fire pen, i should use GMP and Spell Echo?

Echo is mandatory in replace of faster casting, and since you have double curse(flammability+ele weakness) + elemental equilibrium, fire resist of monster/bosses is already low, i would swap fire penetration for GMP

No. The Golems are minions so they scale with minion nodes. Spell damage would boost the damage you do when you summon them but summoning spells don't do damage. Same thing with Summon Spectres, Spell damage does nothing even when Spectre gem has the "spell" tag on it
