Auto Molten Shell - Have I made something interesting?

The main goal was not the clear speed but to make interesting mechanics work while still being able to kill things and to have decent survivability. Note that it is far away from being min-maxed due to low budget, low level (for such skill point heavy build), and persisting cold snap bug with triggers. That's pretty neat. I tried using Molten Shell for damage, but I couldn't get it to break consistently.
Are you using a lower level Molten Shell with added damage, or a higher level Molten Shell? I am, of course, curious about the parts that let this build work Also, video quality is great, I can't even get anything close on mine :p Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

lvl 19 because it fits the damage taken cycles and because I want my support skills (shock, freeze, EE) to go off one cycle before it. I also proc when-hit effects that grant regen.

There was a Vaal Molten shell build-of-the-week some time back. Similar idea, but different execution. It actually used that garbage shackle glove unique to reflect temporal chains back onto the player so that the shell would last longer and let it recharge (kill lots of stuff) in time.
I've also seen builds that used the old Torment unique mask that did damage to you based on your skills' mana costs to trigger tons of CwDT and Cast when Stunned effects. As I recall they didn't add that to the base game, so it's not a particularly accessible build. Your use of skeletons and the rings achieves the same sort of idea. " Vaal MS builds are very different, they require hit and damage taken is irrelevant. Ive made one myself couple of seasons ago, with 100% chaos conversion and rapid proccing using scolds. It was too strong and got nerfed in many aspects. With this build I need to take lots of damage (around 2000/s) to make it recast and trigger effectively I have also plans for different cwdt build, have it thorycrafted already but scolds and the increased mana cost jewels (I need a lot of them) tend to be expensive so Id have to be lucky to gain enough currency in upcoming league IGN: Eric_Lindros

Theorycrafting hadnt been that "lazy" though. :) if there was any way how to grant skeletons short period of invulnerability then yes, it would be unstoppable with the only active skill being decoy totem (edit: and End cry in situations where warlords mark does not work) but against many enemy types it requires to cast skellies manually because they are very weak and targeted near enemies (so they often die to projectiles/AoE before the cwdt cooldown ends) IGN: Eric_Lindros CET: Timezone Last edited by Ludvator#6587 on Dec 1, 2016, 11:21:59 AM
