PC crash/Blue screen

I uploaded on DropBox various file: temperature screenshots, DxDiag, MSInfo and the only dmp file i have since the patch 2.4.2.
The screenshots are taken soon after i started PoE, got in dried lake, cleared half of it and like 30 seconds after i took the screenshot pc crashed.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qob8jaic14i7fdf/AABSICGSS1EqQ8mFdzIUQGZTa?dl=0

In the Events Viewer i have a probably impressive list of 622 errors and warnings from 25/11 to 29/11.
"nvlddmkm" appears really often
"Kernel Power" marked as critical
"Kernel-PNP" as warning
And many others like steamservice, clientLicensing, distributedCOM.....

The "nvlddmkm" seem related to Nvidia driver and i followed a guide and unpacked the file from the nvidia folder and copied it in system32/drivers, but nothing changed.

PoE pretty much never crashed to me, only exception was during Talisan League while playing CoC with Quill Rain and Rigwalds Quill (Barrage), pc would crash due to heavy amount of effects.

After 2.4.2 the system crash really often, sometimes minutes after i start playing, sometimes 30+ minutes.
2.4.3 update did not improve the situation.
Sometimes i crash with a lot of things going on (big packs, lot of effects ecc...) some other time when barely anything is happening. I usually keep graphic to minimum.

When PC crash, sometimes audio goes crazy (high pitch, lot of noise), once green squares appeard on the screen in a pattern, most of the time PC freeze until it restart or i force restart, sometimes i get bluescreen. Once i restart it sometimes screen stay black and i get the "no input" error, fix by unplugging the pc for a couple seconds.

The only time i got an error from PoE was while using the "--nodx9ex" command and DX11 client (with the 32bit PC just crash and i don't see any error):

"Failed to finish command list:
"/device/D3D11/deviceD3D11.cpp" at line 869
DXGI Error device removed
GPU istance suspended"
While this was happening on screen appeard "(audio)jack inserted", i did not inserted or removed anything.

Test i have done: I used a program i found "memtest" to test RAM memory and looks to be fine. Sandisk dashboard says the SSD is in good health (98%). Fresh W10 install/recovery and latest graphic driver (after several crash W10 asked if i wanted to do a recovery, which turned out to be a clean install, every program removed, only personal files remained).
Before doing the fresh install/recovery i did not have GeForce Experience installed, after i did and also updated the driver, but nothing changed.

PC: Windows10pro x64/ GeForce GTX 760/ i5 4440 3.1Ghz/ 8 gb ram.

Thanks!

ps: I tried other games to see if happen as well, The Witcher 3 with everything at maximum was running at like 1-2 fps, after 10 minutes of "stress test" i tried to close it but ended up crashing, only the game, not the PC.
MGS5 TPP works perfectly as well, GTA5 seem to crash (sometime only the game, sometimes the PC) only in specific points of missions, by running it in safe mode works perfectly.

Since the problem seems to happen in multiple games, I'd tend to think the problem is hardware, since you've done a lot to eliminate OS / software problems.

Here are some tools that can be helpful for diagnosing hardware problems:

Prime 95 - good for cpu stress testing - LINK
RTHDRIBL - good for running a bit of GPU stress - LINK

One question I have that I didn't see noted was what PSU you had running your system.

I'm wondering if there is a problem with stable power being delivered to all the components of your system.
Try running a blend test in Prime95 for a few hours, then try RTHDRIBL for a few hours. If either crash your system it likely means that it is a problem with the corresponding hardware. For example, if Prime95 starts throwing errors when running along, it's likely a CPU problem. If RTHDRIBL causes problems, it's likely the GPU.

If those two alone don't cause a problem, try running both at the same time to create a situation where your PSU is put under stress. If that causes a crash, I'd think there is a problem with power to the system. Not for sure, but we are trying to gather information at this point.

Do you have another PSU to test with?

Have you removed Asus ROG/GameFirst yet?
Thank you for the answer.

Maybe i wasn't clear but The Witcher 3 runs very well, the only time it crashed was when i pushed it way beyond what my pc can handle. Metal Gear Solid 5 works perfectly.

GTA5 did make my PC crash, but on specific points of missions, which make me think that the problem is game related.

Anyway, the PSU i'm using it's a Thermaltake Berlin 630W, but i don't think that is the problem, when i did the stress-test with TW3 at max graphic the PC was fine, the game was running at 1-2 fps but when it crashed the pc did not turn off and worked perfectly after.

I have been running the blend test on Prime95 for about 4 hours and so far all tests are passed, at the same time i am running also RTHDRIBL which i was not sure how to set up so i just kept opening more istances of it until i saw that the GPU reached high % of utilization.

At the moment it's most of the time 94-95% with 9 istances of RTHDRIBL open (standard settings, 640x480, uncapped fps, 4x multisample) , maximum temperature 65°C.

For the CPU utilization is pretty much 100% of the time, maximum temperature 73°C on core #2.

Didn't crash nor had any problem so far.

hi all ,today I try update my old game client and download stop at 35.60MB, then I Instal new fresh client and it stop download data at same 35.60mb...patch 2.4.3c.. help me pls
An update/conclusion.....

Today i tried to Play PoE and after a while PC crashed, so i decided to play TW3 instead, and for the first time with it PC actually crashed.

I tried another GPU stress stest, what i found is "FurMark", after something like 10-15 seconds of running it PC crashed, after restart GPU was not recognized and drivers were missing.
After installing the driver GPU is recognized again, still probably this demonstrate that the GPU may be failing.

That's unfortunate. I hope you are able to make a warranty claim on it. Failing hardware can be such an annoying problem when trying to game.

@MaxTheLimit

I experience the exact same issue as described in the OP, visual lock-down of my system while all the other background programs still work.(can still hear my windows sounds and use my keyboard to manipulate my audio programs running)

However i have trouble thinking it's my GPU since this started happening exactly after i patched to the Dx9 version of the game.
The game ran perfectly without issue's prior to that patch, any thoughts?

Other visual programs are having no issue's whatsoever.

Peace,

-Boem-

(ill try running some gpu stress test's in the mean time to see if that delivers anything, but given the order of events i have trouble believing it to be the case)

edit : Let Furmark run, the same the op used i reckon, for over 10 minutes to stress-test my GPU.

No errors whatsoever. Card heats up to 98 degree's, fan at 99% usage and letting it run like that for 8min+ without issue's.

I reckon that's a normal result? though i have no experience in these things.
