Fullscreen to Windowed.

I managed to switch to other tabs without switching to windowed a couple times but its not reliable.
What drives me nuts at the moment is that its always on windowed when I start the game.

No fixed on Direct 11, alt+enter work, but it frustrates me... ;)

Bump, same issue.

Alt-tab turns full-screen to windowed mode. Worked Prior to 3.0

Changing resolution is also now really sluggish/slow and at times black screens.

Windows 10 64bit
Resolution: 1920x1080 60hz
GTX 970 - Current driver
Windows - No new updates available
Lenovo - No new updates available

Open GeForce Experience
On home screen "optimize Path of Exile"

When pressing Alt-tab it will still slightly go windowed, returning back to Path of Exile will return it to full-screen.

Same for me alt + tab switch screen from full screen to window

ADD IT TO HEAD-POST.

You should use dx9_Ex in your settings so game wont go to windowed.

If it doesn't help, download GeForce Experience tool > optimise poe game > then put dx9_Ex in game > restart it > enjoy.

I had same problem and spent like 10 hours to fix.

If you care about fullscreen, you guys should not use dx11.

Use direct9ex

Was there ever a permanent fix, not just a temporary solution, to this issue? I just started expierencing it out of nowhere.
