Voice of the storm 2.5 lacerate idea

I want to use voice of the storm with maligaro's virtuosity and rat's nest with this build. Along with assasin's mark and 40% lightning res on all other pieces you should hit crit cap with foils. Later I might drop virtuosity for atziri's acuity but i wouldn't want to count on getting it. I wanted to stay in the marauder/duelist areas to get a nice amount of increased armour and 5 endurance charges.

For my ascendancy I go gladiator. I grab outmatch and outlast, gratuitous violence, blood in the eyes, and painforged.

Please tell me if you think this is a shit idea without being toxic it is only my 2nd build I have tried to do on my own.

If i understand the mechanic correctly, then i think you're wrong..
It says "uncapped" which to me is the number between 1 and 75 resistance (since 75 is capped) so stacking lightning res would give you 0 crit from Voice Of The Storm.. Having 0 lightning res would give you 75 crit.. Right?

Uncapped is just the actual lightning res that has been stacked. So having 75 in merciless will result in 135% already. And if you overcap it only adds to this percentage.
