Its not unusable its mislabeled, it'll substantially increase your dps on bosses if you can sidestep and keep stacks up - much better than spamming ED when the DoT is up, it just doesn't work as a main move its a 4 link supplementary like wither and contagion.
at which point why not just use ... wither and contagion?

It's certainly safer. I suppose I was right about Blight, it was supposed to be a low level skill your chaos caster can use before ED+Contagion combo starts working properly, because it does take a while and tanking isn't a problem early on.

There's one thing about these channeled skills, one way to use them in relative safety would be using minions, but they don't hit so you can't really go full hybrid with those sweet Scourges. Sure, you can do it with Blade Flurry but that one doesn't have tanking problem in the first place because it can leech and the whole concept is pointless.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Good thing is this time the broken skill looks pretty sick and feels so smooth to play with. If they nerf it already, at least i could run the endgame with it before the nerf lol.

Finally a pure melee skill than oneshots offscreen.
Now we need a spell with a range up to the next area or the next map.
Maybe we could oneshot from the hideout in the future.

No no no.
What we need now is a melee spell so that people can point to it and say "well it's okay that Blade Flurry goes off-screen, because there's a spell that's melee only."

(Despite the best efforts of GGG, Blight isn't quite there yet.)

Even if it does get nerfed. Blade Flurry is probably still going to be very fun to use it just has so many QoL features to it.

1) Auto-Aims against Breakables
2) The satisfying feeling of unleashing a Stack
3) Lack of Name-Locking makes playing with it less frustrating.

Even with slight damage nerfs I'd still pick it up.
