Hi I'm new to the game, playing for 3 weeks now.
I have a build in mind with the new scorching ray, I like laser like turrets :)) that's why I want a build like this even if its not that viable. Well lets start. My first passive skill tree

Feel free to add improved skill tree but please add some comments. In the gem socket I will put gems with life and defense, because i did not put that much passive points in defense nodes. I have read the mechanics for the scorching ray and I tried to select nodes with DOT, burning, fire, elemental dmg increase and cast speed increase. For gear, well feel free to add some ideas. I had a look at your passive tree. I'm afraid you're going to need a lot more survivability than that. The pathing in the tree is also not very efficient. I can try correcting that, but fundamentally I just wouldn't recommend what you're trying to do. Scorching Ray totems is fine, but I'd strongly recommend using the Chieftain (Marauder ascendancy) for it rather than Hierophant. So that would mean a whole new passive tree starting from Marauder. not sure why your running the cast speed on your tree, would lose it for sure, running with 4 totems currently, using a +3 fire staff running a +3 empower as well scorch is at level 14 with +6 ran mercy lab had no issues killing izaro
