" For shit archetypes like melee or summoners, they make spells or ranged attacks and give them a BS tag. Melee is trash, so they make ranged attack Lacerate with a melee tag. Spell like Blade Furry with a melee tag. Same for summoners, they are trash too, so they made a spell SRS with minion tag. 177

" Seems they were toying around with balance too, it was 80% more attack speed in earlier screens, then we had it datamined with 50% and it got released with 65%. On a semi-related note, we can see more skills getting a small AoE bonus per level which is supposed to lessen the impact of taking the AoE nodes on the north part of the tree. They already nerfed them some but I'm smelling something other than my sauerkraut, I expect they will go away entirely one day and we'll be left with small bonuses on random nodes like Explosive Impact or Bone Breaker. It might be interesting to get some on 2H weapon clusters, it would make sense and give them an advantage there, pretty much what they tried to do with Slayer and failed because he isn't locked down to 2H enough. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

^They could change them to DoT nodes to be honest.
It's pretty weird that witch has rarely anything to offer to those builds apart from the "yeah we also allow these freaks of nature to scale from % spell" They would have to compensate some base aoe on certain skills, but as a result people wouldn't need to invest in the passives, which could be a big thing. And AOE unique's would be valued differently, could be nice. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
