Doryani's Catalyst + WED + Wild Strike

I know WED only increase weapon's flat elemental damage with also #add fire,cold,light to attacks mods , auras etc. And i am gonna use Wrath+Herald of Ice. But i wanna know is should i link WED to Wild Strike even if i am using Doryani's Catalyst as a Weapon ? Is ıt WED worth it to spent a socket ?
