Build Idea Help Wanted!

Hi, this is a build idea that I had for the upcoming skill Scorching Ray.

My ascendancy class is Inquisitor, I already have Sanctify and Pious Path and I was thinking on getting Augury of Penitence and Instruments of Virtue if I complete Uber lab.

I'm currently running RF with fire pen, inc burn and Iron Will to increase my damage and I have molten shell on CWDT. I would like to run flammability on blasphemy along with my vitality and purity of fire already running. I also have a kaom's heart that i'm not sure if i'm going to use!

so first off... iron will doesn't work with rf...

as for links get a four link for rf with "Incrased burning" "elemental focus" "and either increased aoe or Concentrated effect"
since ideally you want to get a kaom's you will use rf in a four link

as for the tree you made, it sucks

templar does some stuff for rf but you can do much better

by going chieftain for the regen and fire damage here is a tree that i made quickly for you

check the wiki for rf since it gives a shit ton of info in the mechanics of rf and will provide alot of help in making a build for you


some things to note,

blood magic is a good thing but if you want to run auras that needs to be taken into consideration since you want to either spec out of blood magic and pick up something useful

i specked into curse effect due to the fact that elemental weakness and flammability are great for that other options might be warlords mark.. maybe poachers mark?

your patching needs to be smooth and you want to spend as little points as possible and pick up the things you want (nodes and keystones such as blood magic)

idk how exactly scorching ray scales but i would say equip it with...

increased burning damage, ele focus, and either iron will since your using astramentis increased area of effect or concentrated effect


now as for the gear you want to use...

the shield is fine but rf totems is something to consider look into it here

as for consuming dark and astramentis

a marble amulet is like 100% better in a large amount of cases

and a Doon Cuebiyari is so much better for rf then a consuming dark
