[2.4 EHC] Rain of Arrow MoM zerker(Bowrauding like its 2014)

Hi all,

The primary idea behind the build is to take advantage of the Berserker's ascendency keystone Warbringer, which increases the duration of Warcries, reduces the cooldown of warcries, and causes warcries to restore 25% of your mana and life. I combine that with Rallying Cry, spirited response, and MoM matter as an effective form of damage mitigation. The build also gets Aspect of Carnage and uses poison to deal enough single target damage to clear up to T16 maps.







Leveling

Leveling this build can be tough, but it is smoothened by using strong leveling uniques. I personally leveled using a bow and rain of arrows. You should first path to the duelist, then ranger nodes and pick up the projectile damage like this:

If you are comfortable doing lab or are willing to pay someone to run it for you, you should do normal and cruel by level 55-60. Getting aspect of carnage will greatly increase your speed while progressing through the game. Also at this point you want to get a 4 link and use Rain of Arrows + Poison + Chaos Innoculation + Added Chaos Damage. The double dipping on poison at this point is pretty sweet.

Gear


This jewel makes it so that when Rallying cry is active, which it should be 99% of the time, Mind of Matter takes 20% of our mana from hits instead of 30%. Basically it makes the build tankier, by increasing its effective life pool. A pretty nice effect for the opportunity cost of one jewel slot. NOTE: the only socket where we have 50 int in the radius is the one directly under Mind over Matter so put this there.


This used to be a Tier 1 unique, which has really fallen under the radar as of late, because there's just better options out there for most bow builds. However for this build, its BiS. The high physical damage and excellent attack speed are perfect for poison and added chaos damage. However the kicker is the "hits can't be evaded" mod, because it negates the need to get resolute technique. Also the mana is pretty good for Mind Over Matter.

Free poison + life, 'nuff said.

Compliments Snakebite really nicely by making our frenzy charges last 17 seconds. In addition we are using enduring cry so the endurance charge duration is very good.

I'm using this mainly for the block. Rumi's Concoction, which also gives block, requires that your character have at least some other block to take effect, so unless you manage to find block % elsewhere, this item is required.

Nice helm enchant for the build. You definitely don't need it though, and you also might consider getting the other RoA helm enchants.

Provides a huge defensive boost. Pretty OP flask

Adds some chaos damage, leech and chaos resist. Nice flask but definitely not mandatory

Piloting tips

You want to get comfortable maintaining your buffs. That means keeping max frenzy charges, blood rage and rallying cry up at all times. Also its good practice to spam Enduring cry every 2-4 seconds. This will keep your endurance charges up for immortal call, and restore your life/mana (Warbringer ascendency).

I always use my defensive flasks before I think I'm going to engage. For me that means pressing 3-5. Your flasks fill up fast so if you're doing a map where you can clear quickly you pretty much have your flasks up whenever you need them.

You can do physical reflect maps if you're very tight with your enduring cry but its a little sketchy. Its weird, sometimes I'm taking like no damage from reflect and then all of a sudden I'll be down to like <20% life.

On no regen maps I prefer to not use blood rage and just maintain frenzy charges with frenzy.
