Open a shop in your hideout.
I was thinking, why can't players open a shop in their hideout to sell some stuff? And then they could post their shop pages on the forums and other places and have people stop by and purchase items for listed currency amounts directly from their shop?

It's a good question.
Probably not going to be the most efficient way so unlikely to be of any use to the power-gamer majority, but for the few of us left who still enjoy an immersive rpg-like gaming experience, it would be a fun option to have available. Cool idea. |

" Good idea. I've liked this system where I've seen it in other games. Softcore, solo self-found.

It would be pretty efficient. People could stop by your hideout when you're offline to purchase items. You could login and check your shop to find you might have sold a big ticket item or something. That kinda system would work for players of all varieties.
Or I don't have to stop mapping for example just to sell someone an item via a manual trade window. Allow the player to set currency exchange tabs as well, lets say you need XXX fusings and are paying chaos orbs. Someone could stop in and trade fusings for chaos up until you reach the specified amount. Last edited by MrSmiley21#1051 on Nov 7, 2016, 11:08:49 AM

people wouldn't need 20+ stash tabs to sell stuff anymore.
we wouldn't want that right. grtz GGG. IGN: Bluntexile

" The # of items could be limited. They could sell shop tabs instead of stash tabs. People could still use shop tabs for poe.xyz if they want. And put their bigger ticket items in their shops. Or vice versa. Last edited by MrSmiley21#1051 on Nov 7, 2016, 11:11:05 AM

How is this ideea better than poe.trade??
I would hate it to have to search the forums then find the person then add him to friends to see when he is online then wait..... |

" - Someone can buy items from your shop without interrupting your gameplay, or when you're offline. - Allow people to open their hideouts to let people in when they're offline to buy stuff from their shops. With poe.xyz: - You still gotta drop what you're doing to grab the item, and manually open a trade window with someone. - Poe.xyz doesn't work when you're offline. This post isn't getting near enough attention.
This would solve so many problems. 1. People post items on poe.trade, but if its a low yielding item, it is very hard to get a response out of people. The current system works great for endgame, but for leveling folks (I know it only takes a 2 or 3 days of grit and not moving from the screen to level to 70), it would be very helpful. By having a shop in hideout, with inventory, poe trade can pull directly from it, and players can simply join the hideout using a / command. Walk up to the shop, and purchase. No need for ahk scripts, or folks having to exit their map 4 times in 10 minutes to sell stuff. And no more clicking copy to clipboard 10 times until you get a response. The shop should only be available while the user is online though, as having offline shops many have a significant impact on economy. |
