" if you mastercraft a mod on, then it's impossible to roll it you can use this to avoid a roll on a mod you don't want at all or to ensure that a specific mod you would want to craft won't appear with a bad roll. ign: Quepha Last edited by Nykken#5643 on Oct 28, 2016, 3:35:24 PM

Gets an item which can have multiple crafted mods.
Proceeds to try to add non-crafted mods to it. Yup, I think OP misunderstood the point a little. " OK, so let's say you do that, and then you want to remove that crappy mod. What do you do? Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

" Which also removes "Can have multiple crafted mods" ;) U MAD?

"of crafting" is not a mastercrafted mod. it's a "normal" suffix.

" If you put "can have multiple crafted mods" on a blue item using Elreon 8, what is the suffix called? I'm pretty sure it is "of crafting". Also, if you look at the text on the weapon this card gets, the affix is colored like a crafted mod, not a rolled mod. I haven't tried it, but I have a feeling the "remove crafted mods" will remove this suffix from a weapon given by this card. U MAD?

" It won't remove it. Master crafted mods appear in light light blue (almost white). The 'of Crafting' on the created item in this case is a normal mod and hence will not be removed by this method. Theorycrafter/Build Creator for PORTAL guild

You can can dwell on me not spending 20 minutes googling what happens if you alt a weapon of crafting, or maybe just say it to yourself at your monitor and save some useless typing and cluttering of the thread.
The point is POE has gone just a little insanely over board in making even mediocre things like this a multiple lottery win away from attainment. As others have pointed out it's not going to be a top item no matter how lucky you get with your regal. it might fill a need until more currency can be made to buy a good item, or you loot an insanely good weapon (LOL yeah right) Now I have played lots of ARPG's and started with the first Diablo and played a lot of games in general. You might be surprised to know that I think RNG is utterly intrinsic to making a good game that's replayable and not boring after 2 months. I've played lots of games that really need (desperately needed) a good RNG based procedural design even many games that needed to be more stingy with the RNG to allow more replay value. POE just goes unnecessarily over tuned in this direction. I don't mind if I need to hit the lottery to loot a 200% phys+hybrid 20-45 added flat phys 30% attack speed 30% crit chance one hander, but I shouldn't have to hit the lottery multiple times so I can then craft 15% attack speed and 20ish flat phys onto a 170% lucky regal one hander. The Lamborgini's in POE are nearly unatainable without RMT, The BMW's are pretty damn unattainable without massive collection of wealth The Accura's aren't easy to get... that's all probably as it should be... But why the hell is it so hard to "afford" a 1981 Honda? Pandering to players who don't want consequences for their mistakes is a perfect description of what went fundamentally wrong with D3 and 4.
If they wanted mindless mobile game time waster gameplay they sure did make some perplexing choices and marketing statements for 6 fucking years. |

In my years of playing this game, I have never looted, "crafted" or obtained from divination sets anything that isn't vendor trash. This is how the game works so you should just get used to the fact.
