[2.4]Ultimate Max Block Aegis Damage Aura Support: Part 3 of the Unkillable Support team series
I made this build in order to go with the unkillable support team series to complete the missing piece of the puzzle which was the lack of damage auras. This character is HC viable, and like the other 3 will absolutely work alone just fine and offers something completely different to what the other 3 does; With 3 of them on the same team however, they then become extraordinary.

Damage Aura Support Guide
Intro: When it comes to providing damage, this is one of the highest damage boosting support you can find in the game. With maxed out Generosity, you are looking at 116% increased aura effect (42% generosity, 71% tree, 3% conqueror's potency) on lv 23 wrath/anger/hatred! The playstyle with this support is mainly to chill in the backline and empower the shit out of your ranged carries (wanders, spectral throw, archers, etc), but if needed, this guy may also frontline. Unlike other Supports, this build is well protected against hit damage thanks to Max block Aegis in combination of permanent fortify and High armor. Most importantly, it has been customized to synergize extremely well with the 2 max block Aegis support Guardians that I have built.
Pros/Cons
Pros: *Extremely Tanky Against all Hit damage (i.e. able to sit in bearers without getting killed). *0 mana cost aura totems with maxed out reduced mana. Only your movement skills will use mana. *Extremely High Aura Radius *Really Potent Auras; pretty much every ranged carry is going to want you on the team. *Does not need lv 4 enlighten. *Your totems are fairly tanky with maxed supports; they are usable to lead into dangerous map areas, trigger traps set by bosses, or block harmful projectiles that do not pierce, Cons: *Not Good against degen effects. *Build can be expensive and requires a 6L to see the full potential of aura/tank benefit from totem. But the gears used in this build are gears commonly used for other builds as well, so you can always share them between multiple character if you ever want to stop supporting. *Chroming the right colors for your 4Ls will be annoying if you do not have a leveled vorici. *Does not use curse; but this is a team build, someone on your team will curse anyways (with curse effectiveness nodes)

Bandits: Kill all for skill points Notes: *Total 8 jewel nodes. 5 for reckless (all needs to be 4% block). Node on left of shadow start for energy within. 1 node for conqueror's potency. 1 node for Ancient Waystones (Required or you cannot spam totems). *I only took 5% block on the tree, that is not a mistake. Combined with tempest shield, jewels, and advancing fortress you will have exactly 75/75 block. *I did not go for ES regen, because your regen is garbage, so instead I chose to focus on es recharge. *Although advancing fortress and a built in fortify link, I still went the perma fortify route because it is much more reliable, doesn't require you to get in the face of an enemy, and the fact that your accuracy is garbage to begin with.

Gears
Jewels aside, core Gear is shavronne's wrapping for chaos damage protection from life. Eye of chayula (+attributes) for stun immunity. Aegis Aurora. Advancing Fortress. Alpha's Howl. For the rings/belt/gloves/boots you want good chaos resistances and high ES along with a good str roll on the belt so you can run maxed out determination. (You will need 1 unset ring to use arctic armor) Lori's lantern is a very good cheap ring to use if you have no good rares. It is at least a worth a solid 6% less damage taken on average and provides good chaos/ele res and light radius so your screen doesn't get too dark from being on low life. Flasks: Your going to want avengers on your prefix as they will recharge when enemies attack you. For suffixes you are going to want 1 immune to burning flask (in case you need to recharge es. 1 bleed immune. 1 iron skin. 1 Shock immune. I recommend x1 Bismuth of iron skin or staunching. x2 Jade Flask of Grounding. x1 Quicksilver of Staunching or iron skin (no room for adrenaline). x1 Granite flask of Dousing. Iron skin/staunching on the bismuth/quicksilver is better because it is easier to roll 1 100% iron skin mod than to roll 2 if you went with that mod on the jade flasks. We use x2 Jade flasks here to increase their uptime if you are not tanking. Granite is used for the last flask to give another burst of armor if needed. Warding Flask is not needed because curses won't affect you much, with proper gear you'll be resistance capped; you've got tons of armor to nullify vulnerability/Assasin's mark effect from mobs. Immune to silence can be achieved by corrupting your jewels. Enfeeble/temp chains is not detrimental to you, you barely cast anything and you don't deal damage. Temp chains is in fact good for you since it'll make your cwdt immortal call last longer if someone conduits you end charges. 10/26 I'm currently running the ES guardian support on EHC (lv86 atm), looking for someone to run this damage support & the low life armor guardian support. I know a few carries, so we can def make the whole team here. Last edited by SIQI#7936 on Oct 26, 2016, 1:00:03 PM Last bumped on Oct 26, 2016, 1:20:44 PM
