Keyboard buttons occasionally not responding

Never had this problem before 2.4, but now the game is completely unplayable when things get a bit hairy. Once in a while pressing a button on my keyboard does *nothing*, need a flask? NOPE, how about casting that vaal skill? HAHA maybe next time.

It's not lag, as I've tested it when it starts happening (it's any key too, inventory, map, settings, achievements, etc.) if I make a single press and wait, nothing happens ever; no lag spikes either.

Also, my mouse works perfectly even when the keys are bugging out; I can move, and right click warp etc, everything else is fine; just need to spam buttons 2-3+ times before it registers.

I'm not using some cheap wireless keyboard either, this one is built right into my Lenovo Y50 laptop, running Windows 7 x64 off an SSD. And the keyboard works perfectly fine if I tab out, I've never experienced this problem anywhere but POE.

I've tried disabling the multi-core setting, thinking it could be some kind of race condition/ipc issue but it had no effect.

Please help, I can't play anything challenging or exciting and it sucks!

Small update, I've just discovered that it only happens when I'm holding my left mouse button down. Even if I'm not actually moving, i.e. click and hold to move, let character settle on cursor continue holding and spam the atlas key (G) I experience the issue.

As soon as I release the mouse button, every single press is responsive.

I have this same problem with Fall of Oriath (3.0), on two different desktop computers, both Windows 10.

If I hold LMB (to move), key presses rather frequently do not register, hard to give a number, perhaps 20% of the time key presses never register. It's really frustrating. At first I thought Mine Detonation ("D") did not work, and Mine gameplay was clunky, but it's a problem for all commands, e.g. Flame Dash or Shield Charge while moving with LMB.

I have the same issues. Started this league with ZiggyD'S Glacial Cascase Mine Saboteur and am noticing lots of problems with the detonation of the mines.

This isn't the only thread where it is suggested to run PoE with admin priviledges. Also it would be nice to know if it's an issue with shadowplay alone or something else. I myself don't use shadowplay so it is possibly connected with another process or something completely different.

Maybe someone can tell me if this works. I am at work atm and can't test it.

My problems stopped when I quit Geforce Experience/shadowplay.
