[2.4] Inquisitor Frost Nova, GR, VP, CI variation looking for feedback
So as a foreword I'll say that I've thought of this build based on Lifting's crit shatter ice nova
SKILLTREE 88 Bandits: Kill, Alira/Kill, Alira I've always thought of rolling a viable frost nova build which would be able to do maps up to T15 at least. I've recently played as Inquisitor with crit flameblast totems, which was rerolled to Elementalist flame blast totems which yesterday sadly came to an end due to my sleepiness and bearers. So I'm left with leveled up ungeared Inquisitor I have some leftover gear, and some currency to start the build. I've looked for some decent Inquisitor build, and stopped at Lifting's crit nova guide which is life based, and it's suggested to not overdo certain damage thresholds not to kill yourself on reflect. His build also has some "tricks" for single target that got my attention - Fire trap + flame surge 4l, like throw vaal lightning trap on the boss, add a fire trap and just smash him with Flame surge with now total of +100% multip. Cool. My first thought was - life is not viable in upper/right part of the tree, so why not convert this to CI. After that another thought struck me - why limit DPS when you should - in theory (as I didn`t test this yet, currently writing from work) be able to sustain yourself from normal reflect (and hopefully even reflect maps) by going Ghost Reaver and Vaal Pact. Now how do we leech, and what do we reserve mana for: -Discipline, obvious CI choice right? -Warlord's Mark should sustain mana/life in normal circumstances, and freebie endurance charges. -Now I'm not sure, either Temp Chains or Enfeeble - but one of those since I'm playing on EHC. (Leaning more for Temp Chains) Also I'm planning on going tricurse with Doedre's damning. Third one would be Assassin's mark, curse on hit, orb of storms, pcoc (dual charge generation). Movement I plan on using Lightning warp, reduced duration, faster casting. SKILLS OVERWIEV: [BODY] Ice nova + Spell Echo + Increased Critical Strikes + Increased Critical Multiplier + Increased Area of Effect + ... Here is another choice, we can go for it 4 ways IMO. I'm leaning towards EMPOWER, since it gives me red slot which then gives me the possibility of swapping it for Life Leech for reflect map (upping us for 4% life leech, and 15% elemental reflect after 75% elemental resistances is 3,75% of our damage, so IN THEORY we're at positive leech, which can go up with Taste of hate/ sapphire by upping max res, add an Vinktar's or Atziri's and leech is ezpz). Second choice is Controlled Destruction, crit should still be ok - but I'm aiming rather for more consistent crit. Third is Added Cold Damage which is probably the worst. IncAOE can be swapped for Conc, which could be an option for single target - this needs testing vs Flame surge. Fourth Cast Speed - but I think that Echo will be enough and I even think that I might try FC over Echo. [HEAD] Flame Surge + Conc/Crit Damage + Echo + Critical strike - still thinking about some swaps here. I'm aiming for Hubris crafted with 30% more elemental damage. [4L] Blasphemy + Warlord's + Enfeeble/TC + Discipline [4L] Orb of storms + PCoC + Curse on hit + Assassin's mark [3L] Lightning warp + Reduced duration + Faster casting (OR) Whirling blades + Fortify + Faster attacks [3L] Vaal Lightning Trap + Vaal Discipline + Fire Trap GEAR PART: Eye of Chayula Doedre's Damning (swapped out IF I get +1 curse Chayula) Either Divinarus/Void Battery Rest rares. I'm looking for some feedback from people, do you think it`s gonna be viable, or it`s straight up gonna fail me and my last currency? I'm aiming for at least T15's, Guardians for this build are not necessity. -=Also sorry for linguistic mistakes, as this is not my native language=- -=If I'll try this build out, and it will work somehow I might make this into proper guide=- Cheers.
