Finaly forced my self to do uber lab.
In last zone prophecy triger, Unbearable Whispers V. I know it some shit so i run streight for my skill points.

So ther that book, it do some crap and aperantly have Herald of lightning, its realy nice when monster have no description its excelent.
I stand aside, charge my BV, pop my flask and rush to it. When i kill it i instantly died, ther whas some monster walking doing nothing and idk what even killed me.
Can you make me detest lab even more i wonder.

Its realy nice when you have monster with no desctription, Wiki also have no idea what that thig do or what ever it is, same go for quest and prophecy dont help att all. I gess i should used a totems...

You must be a glass cannon build, I had no issues killing it with a decently balanced build in softcore Uber.

It's a lightning tome. AllI can think of besides the obvious resist and shocking answers are that maybe it uses lightning thorns. But you got through three boss fights to get there and it's much easier than those, so I don't know what happened.

Basically, I have no idea what happened there. Really.

However, you don't have to do this in the uber lab, you need to do it in merciless difficulty, which means you can run the usual merciless lab, and jam that prophecy out in not time.

Combat log would be nice, so we have the faintest clue what kills us.

I got instakilled (not sure if those sparks spiders can hit you multiple times, but I was by a wall I think) by it with 82 lightning res and shock immunity at 5k es in prophecy and so did my friend in pale court (only 72 zone)

day after I died to it they made it more obvious when it's gonna explode, giving it an effect sort of like the effect on current hatred/anger/wrath essences have before they go off

I realy dont like thos funky thing they done in prophecy. When book died my life gone to like 100-200 life and before i can even blik it whas ower. Monster sims to be undamaged so idk how i died becouse have BV up with VP in such close range should not live it unscrached and my life go so low.

Probably taken some scripted funky spell in face, whas loking some videos on YT and found one with some proyectile that pop up in nowa and insta kill 4k totem player from other side of the room. Can not say it whas explosions but when i seen resurect screan i have totaly lost it so cant realy say i whas in right state of minde to notice mach.

Prophecy is full of substandard skills and mechanics and MTX, i remember council fight to be wery lagy and wery confusing fight. Its probably when you do loot of damage scripted effect just become chaos mayhem and reward you with a rip.

Looking at your character page, the only leech I see is the life leech gem, which is linked to your CWDT setup, not your actual main BV setup. How much leech can you realistically have from a BV that only casts when CWDT goes off? Maybe I'm missing something somewhere... VP+BV doesn't make you immortal either. Just because leech is instant doesn't mean you can't still get one-shot by something.

Also, this being the last prophecy in a chain that involves SEVERAL fights with lightning tomes, you should know the mechanics by now! Not to mention that this mechanic has been in the game since the beginning of LAST league.

My last character somehow survived that when I ran into him first time. But yes he does bullshit damage that will instagib less tanky characters.

I believe the book shoots sparks that leave shocked ground and do most of the real damage. I think if you're standing on the book when he sparks you'll probably die instantly, it's a nasty damage spark.

The other guy as far as I can tell is not as big of a deal, just stay away from the book and take him slow and you should be fine.

It's just another shit on melee mechanic tbh
