Not really a guide, just showcase with couple short gameplay videos, skilltree, gear and basic explanation.
I am using Bladefall in the videos, Blade Vortex is MUCH stronger (specially for bosses), but i really don't like it :) Torture Chamber Double Boss 94% Extra Cold Torture Chamber Double Boss -14% Max Res I left character screen open on second video so you can see anything you are interested in. Spirit Eater is quite strong :) Sadly quality is not great when action starts.

Why_Scourge?
After i decided that i want to make a Necro to benefit from Spirit Offering - Scourge was an obvious choice. 105% minion damage from ascendancy as well as couple extra very efficient nodes to pick up on skill tree

Disregard weapon ele on the belt and helmet enchant :)

Interesting idea with the jewel. Might have to try this now that I'm running warlord's mark.
The real strength of the Scourge is double dipping, though. Swapping inc. aoe for a poison gem would drastically increase your damage, because scourge scales the initial hit, as well as the resulting poison. With inc aoe and life leech, you're essentially running a 3 link Bladefall. |
