2.4 Help me improve my EQ Marauder please

I started playing this guy when Earthquake first came out, and after trying some other builds, I would really like to come back to it and improve it. I am currently level 83 btw.

I would ideally like to be able to beat Atziri (I have yet to even attempt her) and uber atziri. I also want to do merciless lab, and uber lab at least once. Lastly, I want to work my way up through the maps and beat the shaper.

The idea was to just have a pretty tanky guy who also dealt a lot of damage via Earthquake. I ended up focusing on life leech a bit, and that seems to work out well enough. I also user sunder on mobs, and with life gain on hit, and the way it bounces around, it works really well. However, this is the highest level character I have yet to make, but I feel that his damage, armor, and life are all lacking.

Tooltip DPS is now only 7k. I know you get 1.5x more with the shockwave, but I have seen other EQ builds where people are getting 50k tooltip. What am I doing so terribly wrong? I am also struggling to get the aftershock duration to less than my attack speed.
To that effect, I have been doing a bit of math (which can be seen at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iYx1CcehvB-DnSb1mMhBcEyQNBN4CvQXhSB-o52AAao/edit?usp=sharing), and I tried using the warped timepiece, and I also briefly experimented with rapid decay, but neither are quite getting me to where I need to be. My normal attack speed hovers around .46 or a little higher (it changes do to some berserker nodes), so .46 seems to be the time to beat. It seems like even a 20% reduced EQ duration helmet enchantment won't quite get me there, so I fear a 30% one is the only way to go. I have looked on poe.trade though, and the best I had yet to see that would work for my build was 7ex, which is more than I have ever come close to seeing (I have like 40c right now...). So I guess I might have to grind uber labs for the enchantment (which I am not even confident about doing seeing as I have yet to beat merciless lab)? Or is there any other recommendations as to how I can make this work? I also tried looking into using a warden's brand, but that didn't get me under my attack speed either.

I wish I had more armor, and life. I realize that my equipment isn't full of tier 1 and 2 mods, but I guess that will come later as I find better gear and/or can afford more crafting or outright purchases of better armor?
At the moment though, I have 9.7k armor, 20.9k with my flask active. I don't feel that's too bad at this point, but what are you guys' thoughts?
Life is a little more grim. I have 5.2k life, and only 4.5k with herald of ash active (which brings me from 6.2 to 7.k dps, so I guess I could get rid of it, but that would lower my meager dps by quite a chunk)

I want to redo my ascendancy points
go to pain reaver first to coincide with my life leech, then get still get crave the slaughter. when i finally beat merciless, get cloaked in savagry to further help my life leech, and then when i finally beat uber lab, get aspect of carnage to increase my incoming damage a bit, but vastly increase output dps (and life leech). any opinions?

I also still get a free respec, and I am not sure if there is something you guys would drastically change.

I still have 1 unused point since I just flipped a level, but I didn't want to use it before potentially resetting my skill tree.
Otherwise, my plan was to continue on in the duelist area and to get some more life leech nodes (vitality void) and life (thick skin)

get rid of blood magic so u cam use hatred replace ur life leech gem since ur damage is too low more leech dont help u if u have only 7k damage and finally get the 40% more damage in berseker class node , P/S fix ur tree u dont need to invest alot into armour

I took a quick swing at it. Honestly you have WAYYYYYYY to much leech, I doubt you'll even notice a drop in leech if you spec to the tree I linked, and I would ditch your Life Leech gem, adding fortify will give you the tankyness your looking for and a ton more damage. On top of that being speced into Blood Magic is not a good idea, your axe already provides the best benefits of BM without you needing to spec into it. Once you drop BM you can run hatred and herald of ash/purity on your mana pool, instead of your life pool. Honestly you can do better then the tree I'm linking, just go through it slow and count the points used to path to nodes and make sure you are maximizing your skill tree. Also use your enduring cry, with this build you'll have quite a bit more life per second which will be nice. You need to change out some gear, your chest can be replaced for next to nothing, that gold ring you have is adding almost nothing, use poe.trade and replace some of this stuff. Consider changing conc effect out for added fire to increase clear speed once you feel comfortable with your DPS. And most importantly try and have some fun with it.

Ok, thanks for your guys' input. I will change my skill tree tomorrow using my passive reset, and I will try avoid so much armor on the board. I will also skip blood magic and just use that on my axe. I hope my sunder skill won't end up costing me too much mana, since I am not really configure for mana, but I may stop using it altogether and just focus on earthquake.

I like the idea of switching up life leech for fortitude, since that will give me dps and more tankiness, so we will see how that goes.

Otherwise, I will try to get the earthquake enchantment to lower the duration by grinding uber lab (once i get there), and if that's isn't working out, hopefully i will just get enough currency to just buy a helmet with the enchantment.
