ACCOUNT LOCKED BECAUSE OF PAYPAL CHARGEBACK

Why? because almost all of the charge back bans i've seen have been perma one, because it's borderline fraud and GGG want nothing to do with it, and because the charge back would probably be logged somewhere which is like a black mark against GGG justified or not.

At any rate it's up to GGG to decide, and as pointed out before DO NOT try to bump your email or try to add new detail to it, it removes it from the queue, gets updated then is re added at the back of the queue making the long response time even longer

The recipient of a charge can't (and wouldn't) initiate a chargeback. Why would they dispute a transaction? The customer is the one who disputes charges they don't think are valid. Whoever you talked to at paypal gave you bad information. Call them again if you really think somebody other than you disputed the charge. Is there another person on the paypal account? Maybe your parents or spouse disputed the charge because they didn't want you spending money on a game?

my guess: paypal fucked it up and tries to cover it. get a proper bank account.

they don't even had bank status until 2007 because of their business practices and faulty account handling.

@mark1030 I called paypal today they said that they are investigating and then if they find out they would call back to me and they are contacting GGG paypal account manager to send me the invoice again if their system had automatically dispute the payment.

is that really a charge back you had if it said "reversed"? it's possible that something on the transfer wasn't right so ggg denied the transaction.

in every case, please consider that handling your issue already caused ggg more costs in supporter time than it's eventually worth for them.

@vio thanks i still dont know what "reversed" means but paypal staff said that it's not a chargeback. I just want to proof that i'm not a cheater.

Your account has been locked due to an outstanding PayPal chargeback. Please contact PayPal (or your bank) to cancel the chargeback. If the chargeback goes through, it costs us substantially (in terms of status/fees) and your account will be banned.

To clarify, customers buying packs and then charging them back is a major problem for virtual sales. The only recourse we have is to ban users who steal from us in this way. Hopefully this is just a mistake that can be resolved with PayPal.

if ggg says it's a chargeback, then "reversed" probably means just that.

just try to quickly advise paypal to undo the chargeback.

i had much problems with my pp account which led me to advise people not to use their "service", so my hopes are low. but never say never :)

I have a friend that is still waiting after a charge back was canceled and sent back to GGG. He got the same email GGG sent the OP, and is still waiting to be unlocked- its been a week and counting after the charge back was returned to GGG.

Not trying to bring bad news, just saying this inst going to be fixed soon unfortunately. You are going to be waiting for who knows how long.
