you do know no node group gives 400 dps other than the 100% ele one so...

if you're refering to the plus 30% acc group 6% dmg > 10% acc with a good %dmg lvl 60 wep or atleast I'm pretty sure wouldn't want to waste orb of regrets testing that but the other dude's skill calc showed dmg being greatly better than acc
sick of people saying pretty vague and stupid coments lol @ 400 dps increase specially over 3 CHANGED nodes not three NEW nodes just point out the mistake in my build and I'll prove you wrong so yea you're either saying the 45% burn dmg 3 node group or 30% acc neither are a dps increase (could be wrong about the burn dmg) Last edited by Sanctum#7752 on Jan 30, 2012, 11:55:20 AM

its awesome but i thought the beta rules forbid you to do that? I thought we were not supposed to disclose content that is only accessible for beta participants...

"It's not disclosed unless someone posts it outside the beta forums. |

"Well.. considering this thread is only accessible by beta members.. what's the problem? "Fine, I'll tell you since you can't figure it out. Take out 3 of the 4% Increased Physical Damage nodes right next to Avatar of Fire. Invest the points in Resolute Technique. Utilizing ArtificialMind's calculator this results ~400 extra DPS. In 1000 Attacks with just the base 5% crit rate and 150% crit damage with 4/3 burn damage, it comes out to be ~600,000 more damage overall if you take Resolute Technique. Obviously, my calculations aren't perfect nor is Artificial's calculator but it's close enough for you to get the idea. Don't underestimate accuracy. The revised build: http://poezone.ru/skilltree/#37 It's actually a very, very good template for an AoF Mara. Well done! Use my slight revision and it's even better. If you can prove me wrong as you say, please, be my guest. |

Resolute Technique is a very powerful keystone. It benefits almost any Marauder build.

" sorry for flaming you =) It's just so many idiots saying that there's many mistakes when in reality that's the only one I could see in my previous build. and MUCH TANKS for pointing out the only dps increase I hadn't calced other than burn dmg really, thanks a lot, wasn't looking forward to testing that. (I guess Artifitial's calcs are good enough to qualify it as an increase, seeing how it even underestimates the dps increase of accuracy imo) The last doubt I have is 30% more life from flasks vs 16% more life considering 16% more life also benefits the regen passives although once you hit lvl 64 you can get all the %life + 30% flask Also unless more staff dmg% node groups are added once open beta/full release happens mace > staff even though 15% block is so awesome there's too many more close mace node groups than mace just lvl 60-70 isn't enough to benefit from that Last edited by Sanctum#7752 on Jan 30, 2012, 1:23:01 PM

Its not easy to keep such uptodated - I know, so better two or three persons might work with you :)
Very nice work tho. I know the effort, because I did one personally for my own. Last edited by Aurwangr#5644 on Jan 30, 2012, 2:33:52 PM

"Personally I'd prefer the 16% Life. It's more base life which not only increases regen ever so slightly but it also helps vs stun and elemental status effects. Overall, life is way more beneficial that flask recovery especially with Sapping Flasks of Gluttony. After equipment mods are factored in, I'd say the Life nodes are worth way more than the Flask Recovery nodes considering that the flask recovery amount can be offset by life leech/gain as well as more life and life regen.
